Cerberus is the final antagonist of the 2020 Warner Bros. animated film Scoob!, the first installment of the Hanna-Barbera Cinematic Universe. He is the multi-headed guardian of the gate that leads to the Underworld.

His vocal effects were provided by Fred Tatasciore.

Appearance

Cerberus remained the same as depicted from the original mythology, except that he glows green and wears Greek armor.

Biography

Cerberus physically appears as Dick Dastardly unveiled the gates with its three skulls and had Scooby Doo open them. The creature's presence easily surprised Dastardly, which had him run into the Underworld, leading Cerberus to cause havoc at Scooby, the Mystery Gang, and the Falcon Fury crew. Both groups begin to attack the guardian; Fred and Velma go off to figure out how to close the gate, while the rest of them try to distract Cerberus.

The plan succeeded as Blue Falcon, using his activated Falcon wings, lures Cerberus to the gates and the Rottens, having transformed into bowling balls, trip him, which makes him fall back inside. Everyone helps to close the gate, sealing Cerberus back into the Underworld for eternity.

• Cerberus is the hound of the Greek god of the Underworld, Hades, making Hades the Bigger Bad of the film, since this monster is guarding the Underworld and Alexander the Great placed his treasure there.
• This Cerberus is depicted to be green all over his body, even his eyes in Scoob while other depictions of Cerberus depict him brown with red eyes.
