Dmitri Kravinoff, better known as the Chameleon, is the tritagonist of the 2024 superhero film Kraven the Hunter, the sixth and final installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe.

He is a trickster supervillain who can transform himself to impersonate different people. He is the half-brother of Kraven the Hunter.

He was portrayed by Fred Hechinger, who also played Ethan Russell in The Woman in the Window, Randolph Ballinger in The Pale Blue Eye and Emperor Caracalla in Gladiator II.

The Chameleon of Kraven the Hunter marks the Chameleon's first live-action appearance in a Spider-Man film. Dmitri Smerdyakov previously appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: Far From Home, but he never turned into the Chameleon, nor was he a villain in that film.
Kodi Smit-McPhee was originally offered the role of the Chameleon, but declined it due to a scheduling conflict.
Fred Hechinger starred in Gladiator II and Kraven the Hunter, both of which came out in 2024. Ironically, Hechinger's on screen father, Russell Crowe starred as the main character in the first Gladiator film.
