Champion Victor is a supporting antagonist in the 2023 video game Lies of P. Once a powerful wrestler heralded as the strongest in the world, he succumbed to a deadly disease, only to be saved by Alchemists, becoming their loyal warrior.
He was voiced by Edward Dogliani, who also portrayed the Lord of Bones in Game of Thrones.
Biography[]
Victor was once powerful wrestler who performed in a circus in Krat, viewed as the world's strongest man. Recognized for his steel-like will and superhuman power, defeating a lion and bear in combat, he became known as The Hercules of Krat. However, he was ultimately still human and he suffered from a sudden incurable illness, devastating the people of Krat. His strength began to dwindle, so he came to the Alchemists, begging them for help. News of Victor's inevitable death spread, causing the people of Krat to mourn their fallen champion.
In a bid to save him, the Alchemists exposed Champion Victor's body to the Petrification Disease, in the hopes that he would overcome it. Victor successfully survived it, experiencing enhanced strength. The wrestler was to finally return to the world, well, alive and even stronger than when he was at his previous prime, and would demonstrate his strength in a big return match against an automated puppet.
To thank them for their restoration of his body, he swore absolute loyalty to the Alchemists, especially their leader, Simon Manus. Victor embraced their philosophy and desire to evolve humanity. While he believed himself to be one of their greatest projects, Simon Manus was ultimately disappointed in him, recognizing his strength but still desired to create a true immortal human. However, the return match never occurred, as it was interrupted by the Puppet Frenzy.
As P travelled through the Grand Exhibition, he reached the Gallery, Victor's arena. Victor announced his presence, welcoming Geppetto's Puppet to his ring, before attacking him. As P gained the upper hand, Victor used the machinery on his back to inject blue fluid into his system, before tearing it from him, growing larger and taking on the properties of the Carcasses. Now stronger and faster, the two engaged in a lengthy duel but P once again overpowered him. Refusing to go down, he declared that he was an evolved man, a better man, only to be impaled from behind by a spear thrown by Laxasia.

- The Arm of God Amulet, made from the Reborn Champion's Ergo, heavily resembles the gear worn by Victor on his back.
- Given his appearance and name, he was likely based on Dr. Victor Frankenstein and his monster.
