Chance White is a major antagonist in the 2013 video game Deadpool, based on the comic book series of the same name. He is an original character to the video game.
Personality[]
He is described by the game as a "classic easy to hate villain", and this makes sense, as he has little characterization besides being a cliched villain, and possibly being greedy. He is arrogant, as he frequently taunts and threatens Deadpool throughout his appearance, and he gets angry when things do not go his way.
Biography[]
After Deadpool his able to coerce High Moon Studios into making a video game about Deadpool, the games' script has him target the evil media mogul Chance White. After Deadpool practices against a few thugs, he makes a literally explosive entrance. Chance White's voice is heard for the first time as he furiously orders his soldiers to kill Deadpool. While Deadpool makes his way through the soldiers, he is stopped by the power being cut to the elevators. Though Deadpool makes quick work of this, while Chance is angered and confused by how his soldiers could miss Deadpool. The latter responds by saying that his soldiers are hitting him, but Deadpool has a healing factor that protects him.
As Deadpool increasingly gets closer to Chance White, White brings up the fact that Deadpool once set him an audition tape, and Chance White claimed that it "suck[ed] ass". Chance White now sees that his normal grunts can't kill Deadpool, and instead orders them to simply stall Deadpool, while White brings our heavier firepower, and his more dangerous henchman. Although this to proves no match for Deadpool, and even though Chance White tries to hide out in a saferoom, Deadpool is able to open the door with dozens of C4.
Deadpool then captures and physically beats Chance White, and then takes him to the sewers. Using a bouncy house to break their falls, Deadpool purposefully allows Chance White to escape, as "the fun is in the chase". Although White turns out to have powerful friends, which he warned Deadpool about earlier, and then help Chance White escape. Deadpool is able to make his way to find Chance White, who turns out to be in league with Mr. Sinister, as White helped the latter install a satellite dish. Sinister then orders Blockbuster to kill Chance White, which pisses off Deadpool, as White was his contract, so instead Deadpool goes after Sinister.
