The governator

Chandarva has been targeted for termination for the following reason(s):
Based off the plot summary on the page, it doesn't sound like he really does anything villainous. He tricks some characters into believing that he's their king, but that's not particularly evil, and the worst he does while king is get revenge on those who bullied him in the past. Overall, he doesn't really seem like a villain

Please discuss it on the talk page for this article.

Chandarva

Chandarva is the antiheroic titular main protagonist of the tale The Blue Jackal from the Indian children's cartoon Karadi Tales.

He is a jackal who accidentally falls into a tub of blue dye, turning blue as a result, and uses it to his advantage.

Biography[]

Chandarva is a member of a pack of jackals. However, whenever the pack feast on their prey, Chandarva is always denied anything other than the leftover bones.

A desperate and starving Chandarva resorts to checking out the human village outside of the jungle. There, he sees that there are chickens in the village. To avoid the humans, Chandarva plans to sneak into the village at night and help himself to a few hens.

That night, Chandarva sneaks into the village and follows the scent of the chickens. As soon as he is getting closer, Chandarva hears a growl behind him, he turns to see some of the village's dogs fiercely approaching him. The dogs chase Chandarva, and wherever he turns, more dogs appear and chase after him. Eventually, Chandarva hides in one of the houses. Fearing the dogs (whom are just outside the house), Chandarva accidentally falls into a tub of blue dye. Once the dogs have left. Chandarva gets out of the tub and leaves the village in disappointment.

Back in the jungle, the other animals look at Chandarva in amazement and fear. Chandarva then looks at his fur, which is now blue from the tub. Seeing that, because of his blue fur, the animals do not know what he is, Chandarva decides to take advantage. He tells the animals that he is their new king, sent from Heaven by God, hence his blue colour. Soon, the animals carry out a coronation for Chandarva, and worship his as their new king.

Chandarva, relishing from his plan, gives duties to various animals, such as making the lion his chief minister. When Chandarva's former jackal pack (who don't recognise him) ask what duties he has for them, Chandarva turns on them and banishes them from the jungle in revenge for their mistreatment of him.

Chandarva is enjoying his new life as a worshipped, respected king. But one night, Chandarva hears the other jackals in the distance, howling at the moon in the distance. Unable to resist, Chandarva joins in on the howl. Witnessing this, the other animals finally see that Chandarva is nothing more than a common jackal. Realising that his cover has been blown, Chandarva retreats.
