Charles Milk is the major antagonist of The Mentalist TV-show. He is one of the assasins of a sadistic and greedy businessman Tommy Volker. He was played by Matt Baker.
Biography[]
Little is known about Charles' past. The only thing that is known is that he once hanged his female neighbor, simulating suicide. Why he did this is not said. After that, he began working for Tommy Volker, carrying out his dirty orders. He may also have participated in the massacre in the Amazon (although this is not directly stated). One day, on Tommy's orders, he killed his colleague Horatio Jones, who threatened to turn Tommy in. However, unknown to Tommy, his crime was witnessed by a small child (a boy named Marvin Pettigrew). Upon learning of this, Charles ordered the rest of the killers to kill Marvin. But Donald Clyde was unable to do this (which Charles never found out about). Later, on Tommy's orders, Charles killed Cassandra Flood, a journalist who threatened to expose Tommy. It is this murder that Teresa Lisbon's team will investigate. Later, Tommy's secretary Amanda testified to Teresa Lisbon. However, when Teresa wants to ask Amanda more questions, Amanda is killed by Charles Milk on orders from Tommy Volker. Later, when Teresa gets permission to detain Charles, he is killed on orders from Tommy Volker.
