Charlie is one of the minor antagonists of The Mentalist TV-show. He is one of the relatives on the wedding. He was played by Wes Ramsey.

Biography

Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon go to investigate another murder. A food delivery man was killed in Napa. Local Sheriff Thomas McAllister also goes to the scene of the murder. He also participates in the investigation. He quickly establishes the identity of the murdered man. His niece is getting married. All relatives are immediately questioned. Patrick Jane learns that there is a cliff nearby from which a body could have been thrown, and no one would ever find it. Even Sheriff Thomas McAllister, who is familiar with the area, doubts that he would have found the body. This means that the killer was not local. At this time, it turns out that the bride's father was going to read from an expensive Bible at the wedding. This provides a clue to the investigation. Someone wanted to steal the Bible, and the murdered man became an accidental witness. Patrick asks McAllister to send his people to the church to insure Patrick's people. He himself decides to help with the wedding. Soon, Patrick and Teresa catch one of the bride's relatives named Charlie red-handed. He tries to steal the very same Bible. He confirms Patrick's version. However, he is not going to give up. He takes Patrick hostage and runs to the roof. Luckily for Patrick, Sheriff Thomas McAllister is watching the events there. He demands that Charlie let Patrick go. Charlie is not going to do this, and McAllister shoots Charlie. Charlie falls down and dies.
