Charlie the Funland Robot is one of the recurring antagonists of the Scooby-Doo franchise. He is notable for being the first monster that is real and not a person in a costume.

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You![]
Charlie first appeared in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! episode, "Foul Play in Funland". In the episode, he is a robot that Mr. Jenkins built to help Funland. The robot became destructive after his sister sabotaged it. In the end of the episode, Charlie reforms and pets Scooby gently.
Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated[]
Charlie unmasked
On episodes of Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Charlie is one of the costumes seen in the Crystal Cove Spook Museum. On one episode, Scooby, Shaggy and the gang used him to trick Professor Pericles and the old Mystery Incorprated by disguising it as Krampus.

Despite the fact he does not appear in the 2001 movie, Scooby-Doo and The Cyber Chase, Charlie appears in both versions of the Scooby-Doo and The Cyber Chase videogame.

Charlie appears as an enemy in the 2002 video game, Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights. In the secret lab, He and the Space Kook fight Scooby during his battle with the Mastermind.

Charlie appears as an enemy in the PSP version of the 2006 video game, Scooby-Doo! Who's Watching Who?.
