Charlotte is a major antagonist in the dark fantasy anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
She is a food-themed Witch with a deceivingly adorable appearance, ability to create desserts, and a desire to eat lots of cheese. She is best known for biting off the head of Mami Tomoe in a shocking scene that marked a shift in the tone of the series into the macabre. In the sequel movie Rebellion, she is revealed to have been a child Magical Girl named Nagisa Momoe who assisted Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki as part of the Law of Cycles.
