Charlotte Mont-d'Or is a supporting antagonist in the Whole Cake Island Arc and a minor antagonist in the Wano Country Arc in the One Piece franchise. He is the nineteenth son of the Charlotte family and thirtieth child of the Charlotte family, as well as an officer of the Big Mom Pirates who governs over the Totto Land's Cheese Island as Minister of Cheese.
He is voiced by Atsushi Imaruoka (who also voiced Rudol von Stroheim in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part II: Battle Tendency and Daichi in Edens Zero) in Japanese and Cody Savoie in English.
Personality[]
Mont-d'Or enraged by his brother's defeat.
Mont-d'Or cares for his family, as he begged his mother not to kill his older brother Moscato, when he swore revenge for the defeat of his older brother Cracker after he was sent flying by Luffy, and when he was horrified to hear of Katakuri's defeat.
He is distrustful of others, as he was able to suspect his brother Opera's deceit.
As a member of an Emperor's crew, he is very prideful of the crew's reputation but is prone to underestimating and condescending of others. This was seen when he belittled Luffy and doubted he bested his brother Cracker or when he berated Tamago's warnings of the crew. However, he can his change his view when his enemy proves more unpredictable or incredulous to him, as seen when he learned the Straw Hats gave (though unintentionally a bomb in the Tamatebako) and when he was horrified to hear Luffy defeated his formerly undefeated brother Charlotte Katakuri.
Powers and Abilities[]
Mont-d'Or's position as Minister of Cheese means he has authority over Cheese Island in Totto Land.
As an officer of the Big Mom Pirates, he holds a high position and authority over lower-ranking members, this was seen when he called a meeting of the crew.
With his bounty of 120,000,000 berries, it is clear the World Government views him as a threat.
He has good intuition, as he secretly deduced his brother Opera was hiding something when he reported Luffy's supposed death and denied Jinbe's arrival. To be safe, he placed guards on watch of the castle. His suspicion was confirmed after it turned out Opera lied when Luffy disrupted the tea party.
He possessed a strong will, being able to withstand Big Mom's Haoshoku Haki and remains conscious from her loud screaming.
Devil Fruit[]

He has the Buku Buku no Mi, a Paramecia type Devil Fruit, which allows him to manipulate book. Jinbe stated it is only restricted by his imagination. He is capable of putting living beings in the books to immobilize and trap opponents. A prisoner will not age, but they can be freed if said book is burned.

He used a rile while the crew were attacking Luffy. During the attempted assassination of the Vinsmoke Family, he used a pistol loaded with ammunition capable of harming modified humans like them.

Whole Cake Island Arc[]
While his mother is developing a craving for croquembouche and gone through a rampage in Sweet City, he and his siblings Galette and Opera, watched as Moscato tries to calm her down. However, Galette was horrified to witness Big Mom pulling out of Moscato's lifespan, before rampaging Sweet City. Fortunately, Jinbe appeared with snacks and was able to calm Big Mom down while soldiers removed Mascato's body from the area.
Mont-d'Or joined his family in rallying to pursue their enemies who had a head start in fleeing from them. He was then horrified his mother had another craving period, as well as to see Opera was attacked by her. Fortunately, his brother Charlotte Perospero was able to mislead her into going after the Straw Hat Pirates, though not before being threatened. He soon witnessed Pudding volunteer to make another cake, before Big Mom learns of the trick.

Mont-d'Or served as the crew's tactician, as they performed coordinated attacks of the crews and Germa Kingdom. He was urged by Tamago to view the enemy as serious, though he disregarded the advice. Later, Stussy reveals that the Tamatebako was an explosive, surprising them. With that, Mont-d'Or ordered the crew to ensure their enemies are dealt with quickly.
He later received news the territorial sea slugs had been drawn away questioning this, before learning Big Mom has attacked Nuts Island. Mont-d'Or would then learn from Charlotte Brulee revealed that Luffy defeated their older brother Katakuri. He was utterly speechless by this revelation.
Wano Country Arc[]
Sometime later, he joined his crew in pursuing the Straw Hat Pirates to Wano to get revenge.
