ChefBob is the titular main antagonist of the SpongeBob SquarePants episode of the same name. He is a puppet that SpongeBob made that becomes fully sentient.
The episode begins at the Krusty Krab, where the customers watch SpongeBob cook instead of spending money. Mr. Krabs realizes that SpongeBob has talent and smashes a hole in the wall to put on an open kitchen. SpongeBob gets nervous and hides in the dressing room, however, Mr. Krabs threatens to fire him if he doesn't perform.
SpongeBob goes out to perform, however, his stage fright can be visible from making a Krabby Patty with the wrong ingredients. SpongeBob hides under a grill and decides to use a paper lunch bag to make a puppet called ChefBob. ChefBob becomes an instant success, but when Squidward snubs a customer under his breath, ChefBob comes to life and overhears him, and begins to make insulting jokes towards the customers.
After ChefBob insults Mr. Krabs and Squidward, SpongeBob gets enraged and ChefBob proceeds to hit him with a rubber chicken. SpongeBob tries to hit ChefBob with the same rubber chicken, but he ends up hitting some of the customers instead. SpongeBob and ChefBob then proceed to get into a fight.
Eventually, the brutality of the fight causes all of the customers to leave the restaurant, and Mr. Krabs removes ChefBob from SpongeBob's hand and fires him with his own puppet. He then has Squidward, who is also using his own puppet, toss him onto the street, which causes him to get run over by a boat, trampled on by a little girl's pogo stick, and swept away by a street cleaner.
The episode concludes with SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward finding out that ChefBob is still alive and now has his own show, which causes all of them to faint from pure shock.
Personality[]
After coming to life, ChefBob is shown to be much meaner than SpongeBob. He is more than willing to insult others and hurt their feelings, and he's even shown to be physically abusive, such as when he hits Mr. Krabs with money, or when he hits SpongeBob with a rubber chicken. He's also homicidal, as he was willing to try to kill SpongeBob by drowning him with a toilet during their fight. He also tried to stab him with a spatula and laughs evilly while doing so, showing that he's also sadistic.
