Chenoo is a minor antagonist in the 2021 Roblox horror game The Mimic; serving as the main antagonist of the Snowy Hell event that was hidden inside Jealousy's Book: Chapter III.
It is an aggressive yeti-like creature that Nyudo wanted dead and ordered Isamu Uchiumi to return to the world of the living in order to kill it.
Biography[]
Snowy Hell[]
Chenoo makes his only in the Snowy Hell event when Isamu, who is possessing the body of a man named Mac Ditch, enters the cave he resides in. Initially, Isamu sees a baby Chenoo before he looks up and sees an adult one standing behind his baby. The Chenoo then roars, getting ready to fight Isamu. During the boss fight, Isamu attacks him with a shotgun he took inside Mac Ditch's house. In response Chenoo uses multiple attacks of his own to harm Isamu; such as ground impacts, head dives, and even his breath that can freeze Isamu. Eventually, the fight ends when Chenoo runs out of health and is rendered severely injured from multiple bullet wounds before dying.
Appearance[]
Chenoo is portrayed as a large, white creature covered in white fur. He possesses large claws, gorilla-like feet and a pair of long legs. His mouth stretches from ear to ear, revealing sharp, blood-stained teeth. He also has two black horns on either side of his head and glowing blue eyes.
Personality[]
While not much is known about the Chenoo due to it's limited appearance, he does present himself as a highly aggressive and bloodthirsty creature that immediately begins attacking Isamu upon seeing him. Based on the blood present in his mouth, it's implied that he eats flesh, and while it's unknown if the flesh is taken from a human or another creature, based on the myths the Chenoo is derived from, it's highly likely to be the former. Despite this feral nature, it's shown to have a baby that it seemingly cares for, not attacking it at all during his fight with the player.

Trivia[]
- He is based off of the Algonquian legend of the same name. In fact, he is the only monster in The Mimic to be based off Native American folklore as almost every other monster in the game is inspired by Japanese folklore.
- His boss fight is considered the hardest to solo in-game
- He is both the only hidden boss in the game, and the only one to be completely removed from the game as it was a limited-time event.
- He is also the second boss to be apart of a holiday event, the first being The Ringmaster as part of the Nightmare Circus event.
- Chenoo is also the first boss to be part of a Christmas/winter-themed event. Krampus from the Christmas Trials doesn't count as he only appears as a hostile NPC, not a game boss you can actually fight.
- He is the fourth boss to appear in The Mimic. The first being Kintoru/Saigomo, the second being The Ringmaster and the third being Nagisa, before being succeeded by Yurei and Enzukai-Ryū. Though, both he and the Ringmaster are non-canon to the game's story.
