Gustavo the Chicken God is the overarching antagonist of Season 2 of the Dan the Man web series and its video game adaptation's Chicken God Event.
As its name suggests, it is a giant chicken deity worshipped by the titular cult and its leader, who planned to kill Dan and the rest of the villagers.
Biography[]
Gustavo the Chicken God was the central figure worshipped by the Chicken God Cult, but when the members of that cult heard it being replaced by Dan as their figure instead, its leader, the High Priest became enraged and soon planned to use a kidnapped villager as a sacrifice to summon it. However, as the priest was distracted to sacrifice one of the cult members instead, the villager stabbed him and blood started to pour out into the bowl used for the deity. When nothing seemingly showed up, the priest then concluded that Gustavo wasn't real, but was mistaken as the deity soon was summoned, much to the leader's delight. However, Gustavo started pecking the High Priest to his death, scaring all the other members away.
Without hesitation, Dan, alongside the reformed Chicken God member, villager and a few Guards, battled the giant deity, before Gustavo slipped on a giant pile of feces left by the King, soon falling down the temple. After it landed on the ground, the King then proceeded to shoot it right in the head, cheering alongside his guards over its defeat.
Soon revealed after the events of Season 2, Gustavo was soon made into food for the homeless.
Trivia[]
- The chicken was jokingly named Gustavo by Halfbrick, but then became official in the description for Stage Seventeen. This is a reference to the character Gustavo Fring from Breaking Bad, who is also referred to as the "Chicken Man".
