The Chicken God Cult are the main antagonists of Season 2 of the Dan the Man web series as well as its video game adaptation's Chicken God Event, and supporting characters in Season 3.
As their name suggests, they are a cult that worship Gustavo the Chicken God, and seek to overpower Dan's cult when the villagers start worshipping him instead of Gustavo. A priest in Season 1 serves as a supporting character, while the cult serves as the main antagonists of Season 2.
Biography[]
Stage 7-11[]
During Dan's funeral, a priest is about to mourn over the loss of the ninja, when the player decides to respawn him at that very moment, scaring all the villagers and priest. Soon the priest gets knocked out, and awakens later during the knight, soon finding out that the villagers are now worshipping Dan, as he were a god, instead of Gustavo the Chicken God. Upon this realization, he then goes to confront Dan about it, only to be brutally beaten and tossed out of the castle. Now panicking, the priest rushes back to the cult's temple, while Dan and the other villagers invade another church worshipping Gustavo, and beat up another priest. Meanwhile, the first priest tells their leader, the High Priest that the villagers are now worshipping Dan, and in response, plans to execute that member. Eventually, more of the priests, who are injured, tell the leader that Dan is in fact the figure that is being worshipped. Finding out the first priest was correct on their cult being overthrown by Dan's cult, the High Priest plans to overpower that cult.
Stage 12-14[]
A few guards of the Chicken God Cult, were sent by the High Priest to raid and kidnap a family, before setting fire to their house and farm.
The next day, a villager who saw the entire incident play out last night, goes to the King's castle to inform Dan, the King and the Guards, about the kidnappings, before they decide to take action. Back at the temple, the villagers who were kidnapped are then imprisoned.
The Chicken God Cult guards are then seen raiding another village, setting more fire to the villager's houses and killing many of the locals. Then, Dan, the King, the Guards and some of the surviving Villagers start to fight the guards, until they retreat.
Stage 15-17[]
Back at the temple, two heavily injured guards tell the High Priest on how Dan and the others foiled their plans to raid the villages, before the leader gets furious and plans to summon Gustavo himself. He then order the guards to take a young villager as sacrifice for the deity. Unknown to the cult, a drone controlled by the Guards recorded their plans and show it to Dan and Josie.
The next morning, the High Priest and the members are planning to do the sacrifice, while one guard goes against the plan, as he takes off his hood. Just as the High Priest is about to chop the young villager's head off, Dan and the Guards start to rush in towards the temple, inflicting a battle between them and the Chicken God Cult. Finally seeing this go too far, the reformed priest stops his leader again and tells his fellow members not to do the sacrifice. While all the members are touched by his speech, the High Priest rejects this and changes the victim to be him, giving an opportunity for the young villager to escape. The villager then is able to take a nearby knife and stab the leader with it, leading to him dripping blood into the bowl and successfully summoning Gustavo the Chicken God. All the members are then horrified by the very present and run away, while the High Priest starts to worship the deity, only in response to be pecked to his demise.
Soon, Dan, along with several other Guards arrive at the top of the temple, and starts to battle Gustavo, only to be overpowered by him. However, the reformed priest and the young villager assist in the battle, and make Gustavo step back far enough, that he slips and falls down the temple. As a final blow, the King then shoots Gustavo in the head, ending the cult's plans once in for all.
Season 3[]
After Gustavo's defeat, the Chicken God Cult soon dissolved while all the former members started to reform and help out the villagers.
