Iain Vaughn is the police chief of Waterbury, Canada and the secondary antagonist in the first season of the horror anthology series Slasher. Appearing first as an arrogant ally for the season's main protagonist, he is later revealed as a villain in the episode "The One Who Sows His Own Flesh" where it is shown that he kidnapped, raped, and held Heather Peterson's fifteen-year-old daughter, Ariel, captive for years. The determination to keep this a secret would lead him to kill an old acquaintance of his and kidnapping Sarah Bennett to try and silence her. He is eventually caught and killed for his crimes by the season's main antagonist The Executioner.
He is portrayed by Dean McDermott.
