Description[]
The Chilan became this in order to protect the Esfera. Animates the numerous skeletons (resulting from the traps in the temple), and he leads an army of undead followers of Quetzalcoatl to attack Team Legend and Baba Yaga when they start to get through unharmed. The Chilan's final trap involves this in the form of the Great Eye. If you show fear for an instant, the Great Eye will strike you dead where you stand.
Biography[]
In life he was a priest of an ancient Mayan civilization, spreading the authorship of the serpent god to his followers. As a result of his fervor and veneration, Quetzalcoatl would give him "La Esfera" to protect it, rewarding him with mystical powers. The Chilan, requesting the help of his disciples, would give them a little of his power, in exchange for their protection. With a great responsibility, the priest had to take good care of Esfera if he did not want it to be destroyed with "The Celestial Point", devising to build a temple to protect it. Having finished building the temple, the Chilan and his disciples went inside it, hoping that no one could steal La Esfera and get out of there alive. Thus, they remained for hundreds of years.
Staying the rest of his life in the temple he would die and rise again as an undead, without giving up his task of protecting the magical artifact. Despite his state of putrefaction, he was still a shaman with magical gifts from Quetzalcoatl, bewitching the site with hidden traps and switches, including the help of his disciples who will liquidate the unwanted visitors.
Guided by a vision of Alebrije, which tells them that La Esfera is in Mexico, Leo San Juan and his team return to Puebla, encountering an empty field and the remains of the city before being disappeared. Receiving the indication where said object could be, they climbed a path that led to a hill and came across Baba Yaga (who was also in search of La Esfera). Forming a truce with the witch, she told them a little more about the spherical object and that it was guarded by a zombified priest. Informed by all that has been described them, it would be time to face the dangers hidden in the temple.
After surviving the numerous traps and the living dead they would come face to face with the Chilan, Baba Yaga would enter into an intense melee battle against him. With El Chilan distracted, Leo tried to cross the bridge quickly and evading with his friends the attacks of guardian eye, reaching La Esfera. When taking the object the temple began to collapse piece by piece: reason why the bridge would fall through the rubble, leaving Baba Yaga trapped with the priest. Devising a plan, Leo threw a stone at Chilan that stunned him for a few seconds, the exact moment in which the witch would jump off the cliff until she reached the rock. The Team Legend helping Baba Yaga to climb safely, behind her would be the Chilan who would grab her ankle, but she hit him in the face, until he finally fell down. When everything seemed to be safe, the Chilan survived the fall and took Marcela to drag her with him, but Baba Yaga knocked him out with his cane, throwing him until he finally fell.
