~ Titus, speaking formally on behalf of the organization.

The Children of Exo are the main antagonists of the "Hexscape" event in the Roblox video game Tower Defense Simulator.

A terrorist cult, they were initially discovered by the T.D.S Organization in 2024 after their systems detected an unknown "God Cube" fragment within an unspecified location. Their organization has several members and monsters within, including the titular "Lord Exo" himself - who is the overarching antagonist of Tower Defense Simulator. They wish to obtain "The God Cube", an artifact that has unimaginable, reality warping power.

It should be noted that the God Cube's overwhelming power previously corrupted an unknown witch transforming her into "The Umbra". Whether or not she served Lord Exo or was part of this organization was unknown.

Hexscape[]

The Children of Exo were initially discovered on 23 October 2024, after a dispatcher detected an unknown fragment of the "God Cube", an immensely powerful artifact that can warp reality. As shown in the first cutscene, the alarm sounded and the TDS organization was dispatched to "1337.32.91" - assumed to be the ground zero for the "God Cube". Four unknown mercenaries, including Titus, were seen configuring a supercomputer in an attempt to reach "Lord Exo".

The knight mercenary whose name is unknown at the moment asked his brothers if the "false fragments" of the god cube would be recognized by the computer. The hooded mercenary responded to him, saying that the god fragment shares "at least half" of the same binaries but the only way to figure out if the fragments were going to work is to open the portal behind them. As they were about to configure the computer, a mercenary with dreads along with spiked shoulder pads alerted them to the TDS organization's arrival. The knight mercenary attempted to configure the computer quickly, shouting to the others that they needed to execute the code as soon as possible. The knight mercenary asked for more time, to which the dreaded one replied that they had no time and that if they lost the opportunity they would not be able to establish contact with Lord Exo ever again. Titus shouted to the others that they needed to get the portal started and evacuate. Activating the god cube, Titus raised his mechanical fist with an aggressive manner asking the TDS organization to "bring it on" and that they "wouldn't be writing the history books this time."

When the TDS organization arrived, the dispatcher explained to them that the Children of Exo are using an artificial God Cube to attempt to establish contact to him. The TDS agents placed down their defenses, and Titus greeted them with an unfriendly welcome summoning pawns to attack them. However, they were quickly defeated using the planning and overwhelming firepower of the agent's defenses. He laughed, asking the agents if this "is really the best they can do." The dispatcher argued with him, sarcastically telling Titus to "keep talking" and that he has "no idea what he's in for." Titus expressed the inevitability of the Children of Exo, calling their efforts "ultimately meaningless." Titus upgraded his offense, sending in the "Synaptic", a powerful yet speedy minion that would leave healing puddles in its wake. Once again, the TDS agents quickly defeated it. Getting frustrated, he explained to the agents that if he wanted to get something done right, he'd have to step in and do it himself. He shouted at them, and asked them to prepare themselves as he'd be seeing them on the battlefield. Arriving to the battlefield, the dispatcher expressed fear, calling him "crazy" and ordered her agents to prevent him from reaching the portal at all costs. He used several attacks such as his biomechanical arm and his brute strength, but this was to no avail. The TDS agents defeated him and made him fall down to his knees. The TDS commander walked up to him and raised his pistol at Titus seemingly about to execute him, however they were interrupted by the portal being activated. Dying and short of breath, he laughed and mocked them for stopping him instead of stopping the portal instead. The commander attempted to find ground to grip on, but this failed as he and his units were sucked into the portal.

The portal ended up taking the TDS agents and their units into "The Nightmare Dimension", where they would encounter "The Conserver", the supposed king and ruler of the realm. The Commander, using his radio managed to establish limited contact with the Dispatcher once again, where she asked that they fix the supercomputer in hopes of finding a way home. Seeing the "Invaders" in his realm, he gave them three warnings each dispatching more aggressive minions with every wave defeated by the TDS agents. The dispatcher expressed urgency, noting to the agents that she was losing connection, calling it "unstable". Enraged, the Conservator arrived to handle the matter himself, explaining that the Nightmare Realm was a sanctuary for its citizens and that the TDS agents, alongside "The hooded figures" had no place there. He expressed anger at how the TDS agents "entered his realm uninvited" shortly before donning his suit of armor. Once again, due to the overwhelming firepower and or strategy of the TDS agents, the Conservator was defeated. The Dispatcher expressed glee that the connection was up and told her agents to get out of the realm as soon as possible. However, she noticed that the connection was not shutting off and the Nightmare Dimension's minions quickly followed.

The TDS Organization managed to make it out of the portal alive but safe. The dispatcher sent two additional mercenaries in as support for their squad. As the portal opened, the TDS organization discovered that the nightmare dimension was initially sealed off from visitors until a strange corrupting energy along with the efforts of the Children of Exo ripped it open.

The T.D.S organization made a last stand, giving every force they had to defend against the invasion. The Dispatcher panicked on the radio as she discovered that the Primordial DrakkoBloxxer, a legendary beast that was labelled as a myth was inside the nightmare dimension. The Draxxobloxxer roamed the arena, unleashing several devastating attacks - All of which the T.D.S organization was able to evade. They were able to take down the beast. Unfortunately, as they rushed to retrieve the god cube fragment the Children of Exo came out of nowhere, taking the fragment with them. They laughed and mocked the organization, telling them that they had fought a proxy war and that the TDS organization did all of the work neccessary in order to obtain the god cube fragment. They exited the portal. As the TDS organization rushed to confront them, the portal closed behind them. Feeling defeated, they re organized their troops for the next mission.

In a post-credit scene, a mysterious figure from behind orders a soldier, "Sentinel Ramiel", to activate "Project I.C.E" - which is foreshadowed and implied by the game's developers to be a retelling/remake of the "Frost Invasion" storyline from 2020.
