The Chompies are recurring antagonists in the Skylanders franchise, serving as major antagonist in all six games. They are most common enemy in Skylands, and are arguably the most iconic enemies in the series.
Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure
The Chompies made their first appearance where they would fight against the Skylanders, when they would go to rescue the royal Mabu family from a large tornado. They would later appear helping the Cyclops and Drow fight against the Skylanders, possibly under the command of Kaos.
The Chompies seemed to have existed in ancient times to help the Arkeyans enslave the Mabu and fight against the Giants.
They would later appear all across Skylanders to fight against the Skylanders, such as Cut Throat Carnival and Kaos' Castle. A notable wizard with Chompy-like abilities known as the Chompy Mage would later appear to fight against the Skylanders at the Williken Village, only to be deated and would return speaking to Flynn on his dingy during the credits. They would later appear celebrating around the Iron Fist of Arkus after Kaos was defeated.
The native Chompies in the Cloudbreak Islands went to fight against the Skylanders, while helping the Arkeyans as well as the Greebles, once again under Kaos' command.
Skylanders: Trap Team
The Chompies returned in to fight against the Skylanders once again. The Chompy Mage returned to join the Doom Raiders, only to be defeated and redeemed by the Trap Masters. A notable Bone Chompy also appears in the Golden Desert, possibly as one of the soldiers of the Golden Queen. A Chompy also appears in the Mirror of Mystery Adventure Pack to fight against the Skylanders, only to be defeated and was forced to wake up a friendly Troll.
The Chompies would again help Kaos fight against the Skylanders.
The Chompies made possibly their last appearance her, where they would fight against the Skylanders one last time. The Chompy Mage also joined the Skylander Senseis, where he would send some Chompies to help him in battle.
- The Chompies have appeared in every Skylanders game, even the 3DS versions.
- The Chompies that appear in Cloudbreak islands look vastly diffrent to a regular chompy, possibly making them a subspecies, as chompies do have quite a few subspecies.
