The Choshin are a major antagonistic race of gods of the manga series Kinnikuman.
They were first mentioned during the Perfect Origin Arc with The Man speaking about his descension into the Mortal Plane and his attempt to kill all of the Chojin with most Chojin dying aside from those saved by The Man.
Currently, they act as the main antagonist of the most recent arc of Kinnikuman (2011).
History[]
The Choshin are god-like entities that have resided in the Celestial Plane for hundreds of millions, possibly billions of years. They created the Chojin in order for them to grow in power and one of them eventually ascended to the position of the empty seat of Choshin.
After millions of years of waiting, the Chojin had proved to be unworthy to all of the Choshin aside from The Man and Five Evil Gods, so the Choshin would use their Capillaria Rays to erase most of the Chojin, the only ones surviving being the one's saved by the Unforgivable Yggdrasil and the Perfect Origin.
The Choshin would wait for The Man and the Five Evil Gods would allow the surviving Chojin to live and wait for The Man to train the Perfect Origin into potential Choshin.
Millions of years later, an Apollo Window, a giant keyhole in the ground, would appear in the Celestial Plane, because of the total amount of power in the universe running out since all of the Chojin in the Mortal Plane continued to grow in strength, and the Choshin knew that it had the potential to absorb and destroy everything.
Most of the Choshin chose to ignore it, viewing themselves as strong and wise enough to deal with the Apollo Window when it becomes a problem, however, The One knew the threat it possessed. Soon after the Apollo Window emerged the God of Time would descend and make Time Chojin, speeding up the activation of the Apollo Window.
Sometime after The Man was defeated by Akuma Shogun and all of the Perfect Origin had been killed, the Apollow Window would start to destroy the Celestial Plane with all the Choshin making sure that it only appeared in the Celestial Plane and not the Mortal Plane.
With time running out, The One would lead eleven other Choshin down to test the Chojin of the Mortal Plane to see if they were able to ascend to the position of Choshin and if not, then they would all perish.
Culture[]
There is no leader of the Choshin with all of them being equals in power, strength and abilities, however, The One is looked up to as a leader and figure for solving the eternal mystery that puzzled all other Choshin with his brute force and straightforward thinking.
They all have various reasons for descending. Most wish to challenge the Chojin in order to see if they will ascend, however, there are others who wish to just kill the Chojin without giving them a chance. In the end, if the Chojin were to fail, all Choshin would murder all of the Chojin without a second thought.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Choshin Body Creation: While in the Celestial Realm, the Choshin are formless and can't physically interact with the Mortal Plane. In order to do so, they need to form special Choshin Bodies in order to descend upon the Mortal Plane. These bodies are slightly weaker than their formless spirits but the power difference is so minor that it wouldn't matter to most Chojin who have far less power than the bodies of the Choshin.
- Choshin Physiology: Choshin are the utmost of what a Chojin can be, having almost godly strength, speed and durability above all others. Additionally, due to being literal Gods, they do not age at all and they possess the ability to fly. Another ability that Choshin should have is the ability to grow to be as large as a building
- Capillaria Ray Immunity: The Choshin all have a protective aura around their body that protects them from the negative effects of the Capillaria Rays, much like the Earth's atmosphere protects the Earth from cosmic radiation and intense heat. This aura can be broken if enough damage is dealt to them.
