Christoph Scissorman is a supporting antagonist in the sequel anime series Code Geass: Roze of the Recapture. As a disciple of Norland von Lunebelg, the leader of the Einbergs, he is one of his most loyal subordinates and the Shwartz Rook of Einberg of the Neo Britannian Empire.
He is voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino in Japanese and by James Urbaniak in English who voiced Professor Pyg from DCAMU Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay
Appearance[]
Christoph is a middle-aged pale man with medium-length white hair with orange-pink gradient parts at the longer side of his hair tossed to his left side, neatly styled. As a major member of the Einbergs, he dons an outfit that is a regal, high-collared white coat extending down to his knees, with gold trimming that emphasizes his noble status, featuring green accents with a sharp contrast against the white, especially on the inner lining and the long tails at the back. Over his coat is a black, short cape with gold epaulettes on the shoulders, enhancing his authoritative aura. His coat is buttoned with golden clasps, and he wears white gloves, adding to his refined appearance. His trousers are white, matching the coat, and he completes the ensemble with black shoes.
Personality[]
Christoph is a smug and sarcastic man with a sense of pride and loyalty to Norland and his combat prowesses in a knightmare. Rarely conducting himself as serious, but rather ruthless with an absence of morality and empathy, Christoph likes to look down on others. As a scientist as well, Christoph is infamous for conducting brutal experiments on individuals, such as civilians and even his own loyal soldiers of the Neo Britannian Empire, showing little regard for their lives. Remaining detached, he is driven by an insatiable interest, often pushing the boundaries of ethics, earning him a reputation akin to a crazy scientist, whether it was to obtain and understand how Sakuya Sumeragi's Geass works on others. In the past, Christoph took many duties alongside Norland, going as far as when Ash Phoenix was a child, where he trained him after Norland ruthlessly slaughtered his younger brother and restrained Ash when the latter tried to avenge him by charging toward Norland.
Christoph's unethical research extends to his treatment of soldiers affected by Sakuya Sumeragi's Geass. He captures Sakuya and forces prisoners to serve as test subjects for her powers, even going so far as to install lethal collars to ensure their compliance. His pride eventually led him to commit suicide out rather than fall as one of Sakuya's puppet when she attempted to use her Geass as he declared before perishing at his own hands.
