Chrome Claw is a minor antagonist in the TV Series, Penguins of Madagascar. It is a mutated lobster working for Dr. Blowhole.
Chrome Claw is voiced by Jim Cummings and was created by Francis Blowhole to kill the penguins while he started the Ring of Fire.
Appearance[]
Chrome Claw appears as a massive, cartoony lobster similar to Dr. Blowhole's henchman. It is roughly 18 feet tall, has green eyes, and has a burnt appearance with darker spots. It has a massive maw filled with uneven sharp teeth. The lobster has one claw made of shiny metal, hence the name "Chrome Claw." This claw is shown to have inhuman strength, as it almost crushed Skipper.
Personality[]
Chrome Claw's personality is not explored in the show, leaving it up for interpretation. That being said, Chrome Claw appears to be submissive to Dr. Blowhole, and aggressive when Blowhole tells it to be. Chrome Claw is not very intelligent, unable to communicate (that we know of). Instead, Chrome Claw roars to show aggression.
Biography[]
Chrome Claw was created by Dr. Francis Blowhole. Blowhole intended to use Chrome Claw as a world-ending weapon. Chrome Claw was presumably a bio-engineered lobster from Blowhole's army. Eventually when Chrome Claw was released and scared Mort away before attacking the penguins. When Skipper got himself caught in Chrome Claw's chrome claw, Private and Rico placed dynamite on the bridge above the massive lobster causing the bridge to break into two pieces, sandwiching Chrome Claw, incapacitating it. Later, Chrome Claw appeared as a cameo in The Penguin Who Loved Me.
