Charles Bartholomew "Chuck" Bass is a major character in the CW teen drama series Gossip Girl, portrayed by Ed Westwick. While often portrayed as a suave, troubled anti-hero, Chuck is also responsible for numerous morally reprehensible and villainous acts throughout the series. He is the son of the ruthless businessman Bart Bass and shares many of his father's manipulative and elitist tendencies.
