The Chum Slaves are major antagonists in Nickelodeon's 11th full-length feature film The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, the first installment of the SpongeBob SquarePants film series.

They are a group of people who were brainwashed by Plankton into becoming his slaves.

Biography

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie

After Squidward Tentacles tells Plankton that he will report him to King Neptune, Plankton uses his bucket helmets to brainwash all of the Bikini Bottomites, turning them into slaves, which means that they're now forced to do anything he tells them to. Plankton then orders his slaves to seize Squidward, which results in him becoming a slave as well. It's later shown that Plankton used his slaves to turn Bikini Bottom into Planktopolis.

Plankton later uses a king-sized bucket helmet to turn King Neptune into another one of his brainwashed slaves. Then he tries to use the now brainwashed king to kill SpongeBob, Patrick, and Princess Mindy, however, SpongeBob manages to use intense levels of rock and roll to destroy the bucket helmets, and free everyone from Plankton's mind-control. Plankton then gets sent to jail for his crimes.

Video Games

In the video game adaptations of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, the Chum Slaves appear as enemies, with the brainwashed King Neptune also serving as the final boss in the console and GBA versions.

In Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, the Chum Slaves appear again as regular enemies in Act 2 of the campaign mode.

• The Chum Slaves are one of few antagonists to not be have an official name in their original appearance, but recieved one in supplemental material, as Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 2 calls them Chum Slaves.
