Love-Sickness Ninja Chupid is a mouse and cupid-themed robotic ninja serving as a member of the Jakanja's Puppet Ninja Corps and an antagonist in episode 26 of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger.
He is voiced by Bunkou Ogata, who also voiced Time Demon God Chronos in GoGo Sentai Boukenger Vs. Super Sentai.
Biography[]
Chupid was built by Sargain and sent to Earth as part of a plan by him to rot the Earth using his love arrows that would cause anyone hit by them fall obsessively in love with the first person or object they saw and become too distracted to do anything else. Two of Chupid's arrows struck Isshu Kasumi and Shurikenger (while in disguise as Kazuya Misaki), making them both fall in love with Nanami Nono. Later, along with Furabiijo and Wendinu, Chupid attacked a beach where Nanami and Shurikenger were having fun at, leading Isshu to become KuwagaRaiger and attempt to fight him in order to impress Nanami. Chupid repeatedly hit Isshu with his attacks, but through the strength of his love for Nanami, Isshu was able to keep going and strike down Chupid. Wendinu then summoned a Copy Giant to absorb and enlarge Chupid, but the Gouraigers formed Gouraijin and combined with Shurikenger's Tenkuujin to form GouraiTenkuujin and destroy Chupid.
