Hachikawa was involved in an operation called the suppression of the Black Dobers which resulted in the deaths of his entire squad and his face becoming permanently disfgured by the Black Dog which completely changed Hachikawa.
Hachikawa is a tall man with round glasses and spiky grey hair with a disfigured face which he normally covers.
Hachikawa is an extremely unpleasant man as he treats everyone around him like dirt and just wants to kill ghouls for revenge on the deaths of his coworkers in the past. Hachikawa use to be a better person as he would also prior the safety of innocent civillains over anything until his mentor and friends were killed which warped his personality and turned him into the person he is now. This was so bad that he even shot at an innocent old woman who was behind Kaya (The Black Dog) just to kill Kaya without any consideration over the woman's life and felt no remorse for it. When his time came, he died a remoreless mass murderer with no regrets in his life.
