Claire is the eponymous protagonist villain of the short horror film titled The Stylist as well as its full length film of the same name. She is an unhinged and socially inept woman who blames other women for her insecurities and low self-esteem; she copes by using her day job as a hairstylist to murder women, collect their scalps, and wear them while imitating the victims' mannerisms to vicariously experience their more fulfilling lives.
She is portrayed by Najarra Townsend.

Claire's coworker Alicia prepares to close shop to prepare for her date, but Claire states that she has one last client for the night. Alicia leaves Claire to her last customer and leaves. Claire's client Mandy enters and states that she needs a professional haircut for her upcoming office party. The two women converse and Claire gives Mandy a glass of wine which causes her to fall unconscious. After ensuring that Mandy is unresponsive, Claire restrains her and scalps her with the scissors. Mandy regains consciousness while Claire is cleaning up the blood and becomes hysterical after realizing she is restrained and her scalp has been removed. To silence her protests, Claire stabs her in the temple with the scissors, killing her instantly. Claire presumably disposes of the body before going home, where she enters her basement and turns on the candles, revealing multiple mannequin heads that each support removed scalps, indicating Mandy was not Claire's first victim. Claire then wears the scalp and imitates Mandy's mannerisms before sobbing uncontrollably.

Claire is doing the hair of Dawn Nelson, who is in town on business and wants a new haircut for her meeting. Claire drugs and scalps her after everyone else leaves, going home to wear the scalp and imitate Dawn. The next day, Claire's regular client Olivia asks her to do her hair for her upcoming wedding. Claire normally doesn't do wedding hairstyles, but decides to make an exception because Olivia is a long time client. Olivia repays this kindness by hanging out with Claire more often and inviting her to the wedding. Claire's social awkwardness causes her to have a mental breakdown due to being overwhelmed by this new friendship. After Claire overhears Olivia's friends making fun of her for her poor social skills, her mental state deteriorates further and her modus operandi begins to devolve, with her murders becoming more sloppy. She drugs her barista in the coffee shop while she is closing, but while scalping her, gets distracted and messes up the cut. The barista regains consciousness due to the scissors trailing into her eye, and Claire violently stabs her to death. She later stalks Olivia's friends, even breaking into Monique's house intending to murder her, but decides not to when she sees Monique's boyfriend is laying next to her. Instead, she goes to Olivia's other friend Sarah's house and stabs her in the neck with the scissors before scalping her and wearing her scalp.
Claire later learns that the police are looking for her as she was on camera leaving the scene of one of her murders, and that Dawn's body has been discovered. Despite this, Claire goes to Olivia's wedding and confesses that she faked her interests as an excuse to spend more time with her. She then murders Olivia, wears her scalp, dress, and veil before walking down the aisle as her. When Charlie, Olivia's fiancée, lifts the vail, he is horrified to see Claire with Olivia's scalp, and begins panicking as the other guests flee the scene in fear. Claire, alone in the church begins to sob again.
