Claudia is the one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside her father Lord Viren) of Netflix’s The Dragon Prince franchise.
She is the younger daughter of Lord Viren and the sister of Soren, who is a dark magic user who does her father's bidding so her family can stay together. Unlike her brother who redeemed himself and joined with the heroes, she still remains loyal to her father and tries to aid him in every possible way, even if she must cross some lines to achieve it. She's also the girlfriend of Terry.
She is voiced by Racquel Belmonte.

Claudia starts as a cheerful, snarky, and playful individual who loves her family deeply, as seen when she sacrifices an innocent deer and nearly goes into unconsciousness while using a spell just to save Soren, and is extremely loyal to her father, despite how bad of a person he is. Claudia also desires love and acceptance from her father since she grew up with abandonment issues due to her depressing past.
Claudia does not care about other animals and creatures, killing them to use dark magic. She even admits that she likes it when Callum says there is no way for humans to use magic on their own, while Claudia says that there is always dark magic. Her love for her father would grow to not caring much about the heinous acts he did, such as waging war on Xadia.
Despite all of this, Claudia is not entirely evil, as she only does the things she does because she truly wants to make sure that her family doesn't fall apart, and begged for Soren not to make her choose over him and Viren just like she had to when she was a child with her parents. Claudia also admits having done things that she never believed she would be capable of doing so she could revive Viren, which she thought were so awful that she started crying while saying that she did them to bring Viren back to life. Claudia also shows that she wants to revive her father regardless of what he thinks is better, as she slapped him when Viren told her to stop the mission and live the rest of his days with her.
Claudia also loves Terry and makes jokes with him multiple times. However, Claudia admits that she believed that the dragon and elf friends Soren had been just manipulating him because humans always were seen as inferior and that Aaravos was the only one to see potential in them. Claudia became careless of the people she hurt, and Terry noticed that she had become more heartless than when he first met her because of dark magic. He was shocked by how she used the coins containing the souls of Rayla's parents and Runaan to force Rayla to free Terry. However, she eventually gave the coins to Rayla after Terry confronted her about how wrong it was.
When her father fell unconscious after escaping Umber Tor, Claudia gained confidence and started to believe that she was stronger than what people around her thought and that unlike her mother or Soren, her father and Aaravos were aware of it. Claudia also came to see Aaravos' homunculus like a child, who was afraid of someone more powerful than them.
In Season 6, Claudia experiences a mental breakdown. She has lost Soren, Viren, her leg, and Aaravos' prison, and is burdened with guilt for the atrocities she committed ultimately leading to her having a mental breakdown. Fearing that Terry, the last positive influence in her life, might be harmed or leave her, Claudia decides to part ways with him and sets off on her own.
After suffering as a one-legged woman unable to properly care for herself, she went back to Terry; he had been right where she left him, knowing she couldn't be so horrible as to abandon their love. Claudia spent time partially catatonic from everything, but was deep in thought; grateful for all Terry did for her in this state: bathe her, mend her wounds and even create a prosthetic foot out of wood for her. When Terry had trouble coming her hairy Claudia simply had him cut it. With a new look and her skin losing the dark magic taint, Claudia began to see her father has a point and that in order to find her new path, she must seek his counsel again. During the trip, Claudia began realizing how much she had fallen; horrified that she could only see spell parts when she looked at animal s, rather see emotional support and comfort.
After finding Viren dead in the rubble of Kotolis, Claudia was in despair as now she lacked a guide to help her. Aaravos, however, was still there and asked her to help him regain a body. Claudia attempted to do so but failed, only to learn that the reason was that love is what made the spell work. After Aaravos shared the tragedy of how he lost his daughter, whom their kin killed for gifting the Primals Stones, Claudia saw she needed to channel her love for Terry and her family.

- Dark Magic: Claudia is one of the most powerful dark magic users in the world. At the age of 8, she preferred a spell that created an illusion of Barius' deceased cat Biscuit. When she started performing spells that were starting to affect the castle, Lord Viren gave Claudia a room in his dungeon for her to practice her dark magic.
- Corrupted Sun Magic: Through the use of a corrupted Sunfire Staff, Claudia could cast spells. She cast a purple energy beam, a tracking spell that made an object glow, conjured a fiery energy ball, illusionary duplication and a force field of magical energy.

- Sky Primal Stone: Due to being human Claudia couldn't connect to a sky arcanum and had to use a Sky Primal Stone to cast spells such as Fulminus, a spell that generates lightning and Aspiro, a spell that can create winds from her breath.

Trivia[]
- According to Aaron Ehasz, while talking about a tweet where they made it look like Claudia was fighting Katara, he describes how Claudia in Season 7 might be capable of overpowering her.
- The book Claudia read in Echos of Thunder is called "Love Amongst Dragons", which was a play Zuko and his family would watch when they were younger in Avatar: The Last Airbender.
- As revealed in Art of The Dragon Prince, there was supposed to be a scene where Claudia would have hunted down a unicorn for his horn through a forest, burning part of it before being able to catch the unicorn. This, however, was cut due to the show's restrictions at the time.
- As shown in the sneak peak of Season 6, Claudia has almost completely lost herself; with Terry being the only thing keeping the scraps of her sanity together. Not only has she lost her leg, the dark magic taint has gone beyond just affecting her hair; her skin is turning chalky with dark boltches around her eyes. Her eyes haven't changed to pitch black yet, but they've become duller.
- Aaravos indirectly confirms that love helps counter the physical taint of dark magic; which is why Claudia's skin and eyes changed back after a few days.
- According to a tweet from Aaron Ehasz, Claudia is believed to be in the autistic spectrum.
