Claudia Wolf, also known as the Missionary, is the overarching antagonist of the 2006 film Silent Hill and the main antagonist of its 2012 sequel Silent Hill: Revelation.
She is the leader of the powerful religious cult known as The Order of Valtiel, the sister of Christabella and Dahlia Gillespie, and the aunt of Alessa Gillespie, who wanted to give birth to their God to bring Paradise to Earth. She is also the indirectly responsible for the terrible events that occurred in Silent Hill, such as the existence of Alessa's incarnations and the actions of the cult of The Brethren.
She was portrayed by Carrie-Anne Moss. In his monstruous form, she was portrayed by Liise Keeling

Past[]
Claudia Wolf's past is unknown, but it is known that she is the priestess of a powerful Silent Hill cult, known as the Order of Valtiel, and that she wanted to use a girl endowed with unnatural powers to give birth to her God. For this, Alessa Gillespie was burned alive by the high priestess of The Brethren named Christabella, with the intention of impregnating her after the burning. However, the cult had underestimated Alessa's powers and instead she became filled with hatred, leading her to create an alternate reality, in which she trapped the cultists, causing them to be forced to hide from the dark side by Alessa. While Christabella and the Brethren hid in a local church, Claudia and her own followers hid in a secret sanctuary beneath the Lakeside Amusement Park.
After going into hiding, Claudia believed that her father Leonard Wolf, the founder and former leader of the Order of Valtiel, had been tainted by Alessa's evil, causing her to send him to Brookhaven Asylum, where he was chained and completely abandoned, but she She hadn't realized that she had also been contaminated and, in fact, was even worse than Leonard, something he was well aware of.
During that time, Claudia Wolf began making plans to destroy Alessa so she could escape the Otherworld and give birth to her god to bring paradise. His Claudia's first plan was to perform a ritual on one of her followers to send him to the real world and get Sharon back. Unfortunately, the plan backfired when Sharon's adoptive father, Christopher Da Silva, killed the man in self-defense, which caused Chris to grab Sharon and run away to escape them.
To that end, she became pregnant and gave birth to her son, Vincent Cooper, whom she intended to use to attract the good side of Alessa (Sharon Da Silva) back to Silent Hill, whom Dark Alessa had sent to the real world to live the life of her. happy life that Alessa never had.
Silent Hill: Revelation[]
After Christabella's death and the destruction of The Brethren, Claudia Wolf and the Order decided to make plans to bring Sharon back and use her to destroy Alessa once and for all.
When her son, Vincent Cooper, turned 18, the same age as Sharon, Claudia Wolf performed a ritual on him to allow him to enter the real world, which consisted of cutting the halo of the sun on his chest, so that he himself could bring back Sharon. Meanwhile, he hired a private investigator named Douglas Cartland to find Alessa's good side. He eventually turned on her when he learned of her true motives, but not before revealing Sharon's location, allowing Vincent to enroll in the same school as her.
Shortly after Claudia Wolf sent him to the real world to find Heather Mason, Vincent falls in love with her and warns her to stay away from Silent Hill. He soon realized what he did, and Claudia transforms into a monster known as ''The Missionary'' and ties Vincent to a stretcher in a room full of demonic nurses to punish him, but Vincent is freed with Heather's help, but is found by Order members shortly after.
When Vincent returns to her, Claudia Wolf has him tied up and then prepares to perform the impregnation ritual on Heather, who has now met with Alessa's dark side, but Heather places the Seal of Metatron on Claudia's hand, causing She transforms into the monster in the eyes of the Order, who fled in fear from this shocking transmutation, and she attempts to kill Heather and the others for doing so. Suddenly Pyramid Head, Alessa's protector, defends Heather and confronts Claudia, in her monstrous form, until finally decapitating her with her Great Knife, killing her completely.

- In the film, Claudia wears a white robe instead of a black robe. This resembles one of Claudia's concept art designs.
- Like her videogame counterpart, Claudia does not have eyebrows in order to make her expressions more difficult to tell.
- In the Silent Hill game series, Dahlia is an evil character and Claudia is a sympathetic character. These character traits are swapped for both characters in the film series. Instead of Claudia loving Alessa, Claudia hates Alessa and wants to kill her so that she and her cult can be free from Alessa's torment. There is no mention of Claudia being Alessa's childhood friend. Moreover, it appears that film Claudia is Christabella's and Dahlia's sister.
- During the scene in Silent Hill: Revelation where Vincent is surrounded by nurses on a gurney within Brookhaven Asylum, an x-ray can be seen of the Missionary's head on the wall.
