Claw are the main antagonists of the manga and anime series Mob Psycho 100. It is an organization founded and led by Toichiro Suzuki that consisted of powerful espers with the goal to bring down the government. It appeared to be disbanded later on as their leader as Suzuki was defeated by Mob.
Members[]
- Leader: Toichiro Suzuki is the head and fouder of the organization. He is also the father of Sho Suzuki. As the one leading, he was the only one with the right to promote, demote or change its member’s rank as well as eliminate them. He also possesses tremendous amount of psychic powers, as well as having the ability to pass on, transferring, stealing or absorbing anyone’s psychic power. He has been acquiring massive amount of energies that he gained from defeating other espers for over 20 years. Psychic users will receive a large amount of increased energy, even those without psychic abilities can gain them from Toichiro. As an immensely powerful esper/the most powerful within his organization, he has been defeating numerous others who have never reached his level of power, until he met Kageyama.
The Ultimate 5[]
The rank below the leader. They received direct orders from Toichiro and are the most trusted member by him. As the name suggest, they consists of 5 members; Katsuya Serizawa, Ryo Shimazaki, Toshiki Minegishi, Hiroshi Shibata and Nozomu Hatori. Each of them are immensely powerful, however their powers only were given by Toichiro.
- Ryo Shimazaki: He is an esper with amazing abilities that allows him to teleport from large location at will, as well being able to predict his opponent’s movements, heavy psychic barrier and can even detect any espers within a range of 200 meters radius.
- Toshiki Minegishi: He is an esper with the ability to manipulate plants at will/chlorokinesis.
- Nozomu Hatori: He is an esper with ability that allows him to manipulate basically anything related to technology, such as radio signals. He has primarily the role of the supporter within the group.
- Katsuya Serizawa: The strongest esper within the group as stated by Toichiro and also had the role as his bodyguard. He was formerly a member of the organization, before joining Kageyama and Reigen’s side and starting working at Spirits and Such Consultation Office. He initially carried a powerful umbrella that he uses in battle, that he uses as a shield or bludgeon as well as being able to blast powerful psychic blasts from the object.
The Scars[]
They are the ranks lower than the Ultimate 5. Considered to be the strongest member after them. Each of them per division are more powerful than the others who holds the position of the leader its team. Unlike regular members of the organization with insignificant powers, the Scars have each special abilities and have vast psychic abilities making them very tough opponents. Like the name suggests, each of them have a scar on their face, to which they received from challenging the boss who gave to them, making them a “Scar”. The bosses believes that they scar received represents an appreciation of their powers, which in reality the scars were simply a sign that checked they will no longer have any uses for the boss once he reaches his goal on dominating the world.
The Recruits[]
The Recruits: They are young individuals that are being brainwashed by Claws in order to turn them into loyal servant of the organization.
The Foot Soldiers[]
They are the regular members with ranks that is under the rank of the Scars and have the most number of them within the organization. They can be seen as reasonably weak when compared to espers outside of the organization.
Divisions[]
Some divisions uses different abilities to brainwashes them, such as a Division 7th esper uses hallucination abilities that shows them terrifying illusions connected to death. The captured victims are kept in numerous cells and guarded by Foot Soldier, waiting for them to be brainwashed. Upon finished with the brainwashes, the victims would start wearing the the Claw uniform and be turned into a Foot Soldier. It is however unknown how other divisions brainwashes their prisoners. Sho Suzuki stated that the brainwash is powerful enough to decrease powerful espers such as Ritsu, Mob and Teru’s powers. There are a total of 7th known divisions within the organization.
HQ[]
It represents the major and most important group of the organization with a large majority of them are 600 regular artifical espers as revealed by Matsuo that they were actually regular individuals that have been granted with psychic powers by Toichiro. The rest of the members being the leader, Antenna Team, Ultimate 5 as well as other weaker unnanmed members. The abilities that they had received were destructive enough for them to destroy very large sizes of area effortlessly in group.
- Tamaki being the head of the first Division.
- Furutachi being the head of the second Division.
- Ebiwara being the head of the third division.
- Yanagawa being the head of the fourth divison.
- Sakakibara being the head of the fifth division.
- Igarashi being the head of sixth division.
- The seventh division was guided by Ishiguro with 11 members within the division before it got disbanded. Due to being told by Sho Suzuki to announce about the group to have anyone powerful to come back to the Claw HQ. However because of how powerless they were, the divison resulted in being disbanded.
The Antenna Team[]
They were a team of psychic users with additional audible abilities granted by Toichiro. As part of Toichiro’s plan to dominate the world, their roles were to communicate and guide the Ultimate 5 about the upcoming encouters as well as aiding them to look for enemies that may block their path in Seasoning City. The team was however never included in the anime.
Trivia[]
Many cults, such as Creation Tree, Karma Club and Amaterasu House have also funds to the organization, in exchance Toichiro assured that they would receive receive a rank in return as well as lending them a building for their meetings. They were also impressed by their powerful abilities over the last 2 decades.
