Mikean Clord (マイク星人クロード Maiku Seijin Kurōdo, 37) is the minor anti-villainous antagonist of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, appearing in Episode 37 as the anti-villainous primary antagonist. He is an Alienizer and scientis who was responsible for the mass murder and inhuman experimentation, taking the nutrients from young women. However, unlike most Alienizers, he is not one who performs crimes for their own selfish needs. He was one of the most noble, honorable and tragic Alienizers in the show, since he did all of this just to save his sister Teresa by curing her from her lethal illness. His sister was a love interest of Hoji, the DekaBlue.
Clord was voiced and portrayed by Yuki Tsujimoto.
Biography[]
Clord was an alien scientist and was charged of mass murder and inhuman experimentation, taking the nutrients from young women. However, unlike most Alienizers, he was not the one who performed crimes for his evil selfish reasons. Clord's sister Teresa was ill by terrible illness and was dying and in order to save her, Clord murdered a lot of young women and made experiments on their entrails taking their nutrients in order to find and create the cure to heal Teresa. While Clord considered he was commiting all of this atrocities and murder for the noble goal, Clord wasn't completely evil. He perfectly understood that it was a crimes and murder, but he genuinely loved his sister and wanted to save from from her illness and dying at all costs.
When Clord and Teresa were children, their parents perished in the space ship accident and Clord and Teresa lived alone and Clord mentioned that his sister always cared about him as much as possible. In order to pay her debts, Teresa came to contact with deadly radiation and when she became gravely sick, Clord wanted to save her at all costs. For this goal he became a doctor and started making experiments with human nutrients in order to find the cure for Teresa. Even while he was murdering young women for their nutrients, Clord didn't feel pleasure from suffering of others and was only doing this to save his sister whom he cared about.
Clord posed as a young boy with a blue rose (which was a manifestation of the nutrients he has extracted from his victims.
When multiple young women in Tokyo were found dead and without entrails, Chief Kruger tasked Hoji to find the Alienizer, who was guilty in these crimes. Hoji went to the night club and met Teresa and the two immediately fell in love with each other. But after a night together, Teresa revealed to Hoji about her lethal disease and Hoji was very pity towards her. Later, Clord attacked Tokyo at night and again murdered a new young women and collected their nutrients. However, he was found and chased by Dekaranger team, who chased him through the tunnel, but Clord managed to escape. When Dekarangers cornered Clord, Hoji wounded the alien in his arm, but the Alienizer used his tentacles to fight the police heroes and managed to escape.
Clord returned to his home and met his sister. Clord continued his experiments with human nutrients. He begged his sister to rest and wait until he would find the cure. Later, Hoji came to the house of Teresa and Clord and Clord asked the Dekaranger what did Hoji wafrom his sister. Hoji requested Clord to go with him and answer his questions.
Clord revelead to Hoji his past, the death of his parents and the disease of his sister Teresa and Clord revealed to Hoji that he searched for young women on multiple planets, but they all had no nutrients able to cure Teresa. And only when they arrived to Earth, Clord discovered that Earth women possessed nutrients powerful enough to create a cure and so he started murdering women to cure Teresa. Hoji begged Clord to stop murdering women, but Clord declared that wouldn't allow Teresa to die, because she had small time to live and so Clord escaped, leaving Hoji to think what he would do.
Kruger told Hoji to find and stop Clord as soon as possible. Hoji was ordered to delete Clord in order to become a Tokkyou, but when he was told about Teresa's illness by Clord, he had second thoughts about his objective. Later, when Clord arrived at night to the tunnel and was about to kill another group of young girls, Hoji found him and Clord begged DekaBlue to allow him continue his killing spree in order to cure Teresa, but sadly Hoji instinctively shot Clord killing and deleting him. Clord was buried and Teresa mourned him.
