The Clown Gremlins are major antagonists in the episodic indie horror game Dark Deception, serving as the main antagonists in Crazy Carnevil.
They are voiced by Christopher Corey Smith, who also voices Malak and the Gold Watchers in the game.
Biography[]
The Clown Gremlins mainly attack the player by overwhelming them, attacking the player through great numbers. In Act 1, they mainly use Clown Cars, which summon them if they spot the player, to attack. From Act 2 onwards, however, they instead rely on a factor that if one Clown Gremlin sees the player, every single one of them in the room is alerted. They are also summoned by the Goliath Clowns, the bosses of the level.
Appearance[]
The Clown Gremlins are, as their name suggests, impish humanoid monsters in clown entire. Having white and hairless skin, snake-like eyes, and sharp fangs, they wear black and white clothing, including a small hat, frilled collar, a one-piece uniform, and shoes. They also wear lipstick in a Joker like fashion and wear a clown nose. While in their changed appearance, their skin turns a neon blue, their eyes a bright red, and their clothing purple and magenta.
