The Coachman is a villain in Disney's Pinocchio and is an evil man with seemingly magical powers who takes unruly boys to Pleasure Island - which resembles a large amusement park where they can be as bad as they want but slowly transform into donkeys - which he then sells off to salt mines and circuses.

To this end, The Coachman hires Honest John and Gideon to lure such boys into his sinister trap, he is also served by silent ape-like creatures and although still a violent and cruel man he is not quite as abusive as The Coachman or Little Man from the original book as he did not mutilate any of the boys - also unlike the book's "Little Man" The Coachman from Disney was large and intimidating.
