Beast Baron Cobolda is a supporting antagonist later turned anti-hero of Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive, serving as the supporting antagonist of the most of his appearances, before eventually redeeming himself in his final appearance. He was Grand Witch Grandiene's third born child and one of the GoGoFive Rangers primary enemies before eventually redeeming himself in his final appearance, when he was killed by Zylpheeza, who was mind-controlled by their evil mother. His death played a primary point in Zylpheeza's turn to the side of good and helping the Rangers defeat the evil demonic witch for good.
Cobolda was voiced by Kenji Nomura and physically portrayed by Hirofumi Fukuzawa.

Thousands years before the events of the season, Cobolda and his siblings were terrorizing and causing havoc and destruction in the Human World, ruling as the demonic tyrants, before eventually they were imprisoned in the magic box by the powerful sorcerer. They awaited for millenias for their return and rise to power.
GoGoFive[]
Cobolda is the demon of ground calamity. He and his siblings returned to the Earth after the Grand Cross space event and again clashed with the GoGoV Rangers in their battle for the dominion over the planet. Cobolda is the strongest physically of his Psyma siblings and preferred strategies, based on pure power rather than thoughts and so his tactics were drastically different in compare to his older brother Zylpheeza, who was a dexterous warlord and his sister Denus, who was a cunning strategist. Throughout the series, Cobolda helped his family with creating plans of destroying Tokyo. Cobolda was also highly ambitious and cunning and, by default, he secretly planned to take the Dark King title for himself by usurping his brother. However, after Zylpheeza was killed in his final battle against the Rangers of GoGoFive, Cobolda wanted to take the role of the supreme commander of the Human World invading forces for himself, but he was outmatched by Drop, who was transformed into Salamandes by his mother Grandiene.
While working under Salamandes's command, Cobolda also tried to destroy the Power Rangers multiple times, while also reviving Zylpheeza together with Denus. However, after the failure of most of their plans, Grandiene prepared her sons for the final battle. When Cobolda fought the Rangers, Zylpheeza was mind-controlled by their evil mother and the demonic queen forced Zylpheeza to shoot at the Rangers, while also mortally wounding Cobolda in the process. Cobolda farewelled his brother on his last breath and this event finally caused Zylpheeza to change sides and help the GoGoFive finally defeat and destroy Grandiene for good. It was also implied that after their deaths in the finale of the season, Zylpheeza finally reunited with Cobolda and Denus in the afterlife.
