The Cockroaches are supporting antagonists of Illumination's 15th full-length feature film, Despicable Me 4, the fourth installment in the Despicable Me franchise. They are the cockroaches that help Maxime Le Mal get rid of Gru. They made the plan to make a cockroach robot for him and his girlfriend Valentina to track down Gru and his family.
Biography[]
Somehow, the cockroaches found Maxime Le Mal and (presumably) gave him cockroach powers. It is also likely that Maxime summoned the cockroaches via pheromones after he surgically modified his body as (assuming his body functions like a real roach) his body now produces pheromones. They are then later seen watching Maxime's plan to kidnap Gru Jr. for revenge on Felonious Gru.
