Biography[]
At the City Hall, Mayor Goodway, Ryder, Chase, and Rocky are waiting for a special guest, Codi Gizmody, who is one of the most famous kid inventors, to arrive at Adventure Bay. When she arrives in her drone vehicle, her robot, Elly-Dee, flies to Ryder and the pups, says their names, introduces herself, and greets them with a "hello" in several languages, much to Chase's, Rocky's, and Goodway's amazement. Codi then asks Mayor Goodway when they will do the tour around Adventure Bay, to which Goodway replies now and shows her where her car is. However, Codi offers the Mayor to fly with her in the drone vehicle, to which she accepts. Ryder then tells Codi and Elly-Dee that it was nice meeting them and to enjoy the tour. After taking off, Goodway starts showing Codi around the city. As she does so, Codi starts to secretly make some plans about the city.
Later, after finishing the tour, Codi thanks Mayor Goodway for the tour and says that Adventure Bay is perfect. She then says that wants to buy the whole town, with the Mayor telling her that the town is not for sale. Goodway then tells Codi that they'll later have lunch at Mr. Porter's Cafe and discuss about other areas for her new home and leaves to pick up her niece and nephew at the train station. Annoyed, Codi starts planning on taking the city by force. She plans on turning Adventure Bay into her own city, Codi Cove, that will be all for herself and where no one will get near. She then tells Elly-Dee to bring out her new invention, the relocator, tests it, and teleports Mr. Porter's Cafe (along with Mr. Porter) to "anywhere", which lands in the jungle right in front of Tracker and Carlos. With there being a lot of buildings, Codi decides that it would really help if she could see the whole town at once while smiling evilly at the Lookout.
Codi (and Elly-Dee) gets on her drone vehicle, flies near the Lookout. She commands her robot to turn on the sound to spy on the PAW Patrol. Meanwhile, Alex calls Ryder to inform him that the cafe and his grandfather had disappeared, with Mayor Goodway behind him saying that Codi had also disappeared, unaware that she actually hadn't. Ryder then summons the pups to the Lookout, and do the mission briefing. But before they could head out, Codi mocks them, saying that she hasn't disappeared and that they are about to, and teleports them really far away from Adventure Bay in a forest on a tall tree.
Afterwards, Codi and Elly-Dee get into the Lookout. When Robo-Dog, who was in the PAW Patroller, barks, Codi teleports the vehicle to a beach way out of town. She then orders her robot to bring in her guard drones so that she won't be bothered while she makes her dream city.
In the forest, Chase uses his net to let everyone down from the tree. After Skye flies up to see where they are and, using her goggles, sees what is going on at the Lookout, Ryder calls Robo-Dog to see where he is. Ryder then tells him to lock in on his signal and drive the PAW Patroller to the edge of the forest and that they'll meet him there. With Skye showing the way, the pups wonder how the PAW Patroller ended up so far away, that maybe it was the same way how they got in the forest and how the cafe disappeared. Rocky suggests that it would take someone with a high-tech gadget and realizes the awful truth. At the Lookout, Codi starts teleporting everything. The City Hall lands in Jake's snowboarding resort. Katie's Pet Parlor lands in the desert. The Ferris Wheel lands in Barkingburg. Alex's tree house lands in Pirate Island. The cup from the lemonade stand lands in Adventure City. The Adventure Bay museum lands in Dino Wilds. The Chickaletta statue lands in Puplantis. The Flounder lands in the Big Valley highway. After having teleported everything, Codi has her drones take everyone from the city to the Lookout, trapping them there. When Mayor Goodway was being taken, Codi, who was in her drone vehicle, reveals herself to the Mayor as the one behind everything, telling her that she wouldn't sell the city to her and that she had to take it because of it. Codi then brings in her demolition drones to clear the "clutter". When the residents get disgusted by her actions, Codi mocks them, saying that if they don't like living in Codi Cove, they'd maybe like living on the moon. She tries to teleport them, but the relocator needed to be fully charged to do so. Telling her robot to recharge it, relocator starts recharging.
At the edge of the forest, Ryder recieves a call from Mayor Goodway, who informs him what Codi is up to. When the PAW Patrol go into the PAW Patroller and the pups examine their screens, they not only see the people trapped in the lookout, but they also see that Codi's drones are guarding them. They also spot the relocator, which was recharging to send the Lookout to the moon. When they see the demolition drones destroying things and realize they are seriously outnumbered, Ryder receives several calls from Everest, Tracker, Sweetie, Wild (who was with the rest of the Cat Pack and the Mighty Twins), Liberty, Arrby, Coral, and Al, revealing where the buildings and objects had landed. This gives Ryder an idea. After explaining his plan to stop Codi, the PAW Patroller heads back to Adventure Bay.
The PAW Patroller, which was in stealth mode, arrives at the Lookout. Chase, Marshall, Rubble, and Zuma, who were in their vehicles, manage to get close to the Lookout; moreover, Marshall sprays water at the drones and Zuma launches bouys at Codi's vehicle drone. Annoyed, Codi orders her drones to trap them in with the rest. The pups then drive away with the drones going after them. Codi also goes after them, but not before she orders Elly-Dee to guard the relocator. Afterwards, Skye flies Rocky to the relocator. To keep the robot busy, he tells her to say "hello" in every language. Rocky then stops the relocator from recharging and sets it to reverse. He teleports all the building and objects back. Hitching a ride on them were Tracker, Everest, the Mighty Twins, the Cat Pack, Rex with a T. Rex, Liberty, Arrby, Al, Coral, and Sweetie. Codi spots the Ferris Wheel and realizes that someone is using her relocator. Angered, she turns back and discovers that all of the buildings are back. Flying to the Lookout, she sees Rocky with the relocator and orders him to get his paws off it. Skye then flies Rocky to his vehicle and they both head to the waterfront. Codi then orders Elly-Dee, who was still saying "hello" in other languages, to continue recharging the relocator. When she does, the relocator shows one bar, which won't send the residents to the moon. Codi decides to make some time by clearing away the buildings herself. She then tells her robot to order the drones to form the Codi-molisher.
After all the pups and cats gather at the waterfront, Codi assembles the Codi-molisher using her drones and vehicle, and begins causing destruction in the city. She then heads to City Hall, intent on demolishing it, but the PAW Patrol intervenes to stop her.
Marshall uses his water cannon to spray water at Codi, while Skye employs the hook from her helicopter to start pulling the Codi-molisher apart. As Codi prepares to demolish the building, Tracker uses his cables to secure Sweetie's flying copter car and the Codi-molisher, causing Sweetie to pull away and dismantle more of it. In a fit of anger, Codi swings the wrecking ball at Tracker, but Sweetie manages to fly him out of danger just in time.
Everest then joins the fray, using the grabbers from her snowplow to destroy more parts of the Codi-molisher. As Codi persists in trying to take down City Hall, Al and Chase continue to dismantle its structure. Codi swings the wrecking ball again, but this time she misses. Undeterred, she moves closer to take another swing, but Ella uses her growing powers to push the wrecking ball away just as Rex’s T. Rex chomps on it, destroying it completely.
Despite this setback, Codi remains determined to knock down the building using the crane from the Codi-molisher. Rubble steps in, using the claw arm from his bulldozer to stop the crane. Tuck then employs his shrinking powers, while Liberty takes him to the Codi-molisher. Tuck jumps in and disconnects the wires, rendering Codi unable to move the crane. Rubble then detaches the crane entirely.
Immediately after, Arrby pulls apart more of the Codi-molisher. Wild, Leo, Shade, and Rory join forces to destroy even more. For the final blow, Coral uses her bubble launcher to lift the remains into the air. When the bubble pops, it destroys the Codi-molisher once and for all.
However, the destruction causes one of the motors from the drone vehicle to break free, sending it spinning uncontrollably toward the Lookout. When Elly-Dee informs Codi that the relocator is fully charged, Codi presses the button to send the residents to the moon, declaring that if she can’t have Adventure Bay, then no one can. The spinning drone vehicle collides with the relocator, causing it to turn around. This results in Codi, Elly-Dee, and the drone being teleported to the moon instead.
Still unwilling to accept defeat, Codi orders Elly-Dee to bring her plans for building a spaceship, stating that Adventure Bay hasn’t seen the last of Codi Gizmody.
Physical Appearance[]
Codi is a 10-year-old girl who has light blue eyes, short light blue hair, fair skin, and freckles. She wears two earrings on her left ear and one on her right. Her silver jacket has teal accents. Her jacket also has a small pink "G" imprinted on the front top left, and on big one on the back. She also wears what appears to be a grey shirt under her sweater and grey pants. Her shoes are grey with purple and pink accents.
Personality[]
Codi at first appeared to be polite, kind, and friendly, but she turned out to be quite the opposite. She wanted to demolish Adventure Bay and build her dream city, which she planned on naming "Codi Cove", in its place and was planning on not letting anyone get near her city so she can have it all to herself. She is also over-confident and cannot tolerate failing, as when the PAW Patrol was destroying the Codi-molisher, Codi, in her anger, was still trying to destroy the City Hall.
Codi is shown to be an expert in technology and is a great inventor as well. This is proven by the fact that she was able to invent a lot of things, including a drone vehicle, a flying talking robot, a flying machine for teleportation, and robot drones.
Codi is also arrogant, as when Elly-Dee tells her that the relocator had successfully relocated Mr. Porter's cafe, she says that it of course did because it is her invention. She has a crab mentality as well, shown when she tried to teleport the residents to the moon just because she believed that if she can't have Adventure Bay, no one can.
Trivia[]
- Due to her actions throughout the episode, Codi is arguably one of the most dangerous and vile villains in PAW Patrol.
