Coglins are antagonists in the SteamWorld Series, appearing in SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech.

SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech
Coglins are fairy-tale creatures in the SteamWorld series, where they have been said to steal pillage and murder unwary travelers that pass them, even having ranks for themselves.
Coglins appeared outside the gates of the village, where they would fight against Armilly and Copernica, only to be defeated. They would fight against Armilly, Copernica and Galleo once again after they left the village, presumably working with the Void ready to fight against Armilly, Copernica and Galleo when they would approach them. The trio fought against a Coglin known as Keymaster Kleidon and him ogre friend known as Puppy just to get the keys to free Orik. Some Ogre known as Bargas appear outside of the Void's Castle, where they went to fight against the Fellowship with the help of some Druids and some Void Soldiers. It is unknown what happened to the Coglins after this.
The Coglins have their own cup in the arena as the minor leagues, with the leaders being the Keymaster and his Puppy.
