Coiny is a recurring protagonist in the Battle for Dream Island franchise, he is the former archenemy of Firey and is the current best friend of Pin.

He was voiced and performed by Micheal Huang (the co-creator of the series), who has also voiced characters such as Firey and Flower.

Appearance

Coiny is an unknown type of coin who is colored gold and has 2 shines on him.

Personality

Coiny is a contestant who focuses on winning the challenge, no matter what the cost is. He is a jerk to most people, and has a deep friendship with Pin. This is most prominent in BFDIA, where he mistreats Teardrop and Spongy, even mocking the former after she gets eliminated. He also killed the former just to survive a death trap. When Spongy asked for an apology, everyone, including him, simply dissed Spongy.

Biography

BFDI

Coiny competes in this season on the Squashy Grapes. He later moves to Another Name, and is the last member to be eliminated on the team in "A Leg Up in the Race". He was eligible to rejoin, but failed to do so. Throughout the season, he has had a rivalry with Firey, which would not be present in later seasons.

BFDIA

Coiny becomes more ruthless in this season, and competes on W.O.A.H. Bunch. He currently is competing and has yet to be eliminated/win.

IDFB

Coiny becomes less ruthless and tries to get along with Fries, and later goes with Tennis Ball to figure out who should be let out of the TLC. Later, he decides to take "deep fried breaths", only to burn himself doing so.

BFB

Coiny competed on The Losers during this season, before he switched to TPOT.

TPOT

For the time he was there, he competed on Team8s before he was eliminated in "Outbreak at Stake". He was infected and turned into a zombie before Pin was forced to kill him and has not been seen since, as it could be implied he was recovered and eliminated by Two.

Trivia

• Coiny has been mistaken for a penny multiple times. This was likely because Eraser called him a penny in "Sweet Tooth".
• Coiny has been eliminated three times, if you count him quitting BFB.
