Commander Gaius is a major antagonist in the 2022 dark fantasy action role-playing video game DLC Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. He is a long-time friend of Messmer, serving as one of his right-hand lieutenants, leading his military forces in the Land of Shadow.
Personality[]
Little is known about Gaius regarding his personality, but he was said to be a senior disciple under an Alabaster lord that taught him how to use gravity magic and techniques. He and Radahn were said to have a rivalry, one that was very competitive in nature but both being good friends, nonetheless. He was also close with Messmer, who considered him to be an elder brother, alongside with Radahn.
