Biographhy[]
Concetta Wale is the wife of real estate businessman Landon Wale, who was secretly having an affair with his assistant. She found out about Landon's affair due to the fact that he wasn't very discreet about it. The last straw for Concetta came when an Aphrodite statue, which Landon gave to Concetta as a gift on their honeymoon. In actuality, Landon took the statue to give to Daniel Ruskin (Patrick Jane's brother-in-law), who was conning him. However, believing that Landon was planning to give the statue to his mistress, Concetta followed her husband to his office, where she shot and killed him. After killing Landon, Concetta regained possession of the statue, and Daniel ended up accused of the murder.
Jane arrived at the Wale home in the episode's climax and revealed Concetta as Landon's killer. He set up an elaborate ruse and warned Concetta that Daniel would be out to kill her because her murderous actions ruined his life. When Jane mentioned Concetta having possession of the statue, the villainess denied the claim, and also claimed that Daniel killed Landon. Jane rushed to the upstairs room to search for the statue, with Concetta rushing after him. At that moment, Daniel appeared and pointed a gun at Jane, shooting and apparently killing him. Concetta, with Daniel closing in on her, offered to pay him off--taking out the statue and handing it to Daniel. It was at that moment, that Jane arose, much to the shock of Concetta, who realized that she was tricked into revealing that she had the statue. Concetta was later arrested for her husband's murder.
