~ Conrad summons the giant hand that lifts Griffith to the sky during the eclipse. |
Conrad is a major antagonist in the Berserk franchise. He is a member of an organization called the God Hand, whom is tasked with spreading diseases, plagues and disasters through vermin.
Appearance[]
Conrad is a wide and slightly overweight creature with a puckered face that resembles a look of a human baby. He has his mouth opened all the time, with his eyes closed thus making his expression the same, most of the time. He is the second smallest member of the God Hand, with Ubik being the smallest.
Personality[]
Out of all the members of God Hand, Conrad is the most enigmatic and least talkative one. Though it's clear that he is stoic and impassive, he prefers when other God Hand members do the talking during rituals. His desire is to spread pestilence through diseased creatures (usually rodents) to the mortal world.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Corporealization: He has demonstrated the ability to use rats as a means of spreading disease and manifesting in the physical plane of existence.
- Casualty Awareness: Like every other member of the God Hand, Conrad is able to perceive the flow of causality, enabling him to foresee nearly any possibility and manipulate the course of efffects to ensure possibilities become a reality. However this is not to the point of omniscience, as he and all the four other God Hand cannot predict absolutely everything nor everything completely correctly.
- Transmutation: Conrad was able to create the mound that lifts Griffith skyward above the rest of the Band of the Falcon during the Eclipse, and then was able to transform it into the shape of a giant hand, which would all serve as the basis for Griffith’s rebirth into Femto.
