Cookie Robots are supporting characters in Illumination's 1st feature film Despicable Me, the first installment of the Despicable Me franchise.
They are robots created by Dr. Nefario and used by Gru to get the shrink ray from Vector Perkins.
Appearance[]
They all resemble chocolate chip cookies. They have metal heads with single laser eyes, and thin metal legs. The leader wears a blue navy cap while the others wear green army helmets.
Biography[]
After witnessing the girls selling cookies to Vector, Gru comes up with an idea and asks Dr. Nefario to create Cookie Robots. Nefario mistakes Gru's order and creates the Boogie Robots instead before finally complying with Gru's demands.
The cookies are then mixed with the cookies supplied by Agnes, Edith and Margo. After buying them, Vector dumps the cookies and bots into a bowl before leaving. The Cookie Robots then spring into action, hacking Vector's Vault and cutting open the wall, allowing Gru and his two minions to enter. However, the Cookie Robots seal the vault before Gru leaves and he is forced to find an alternative escape.
Later, Vector unknowingly eats a Cookie Robot instead of a real cookie, but seems unfazed and continues to chew.

- In Minion Rush, it was revealed that Cookie Robots were stolen by Meena.
