The Cool Friends Gang are a minor antagonistic group in Brickleberry, only appearing in the episode "Scared Straight". They are a street gang of black thugs from Detroit, that Denzel Jackson used to be a part of.
Biography[]
In "Scared Straight", Denzel said that back in Detroit, he used to be part of a street gang called The Cool Friends Gang, where he and three other guys went around, killing people, robbing banks, and blowing stuff up but he's then since quit and become clean. After seeing how horrible Malloy was acting, he called up his old gang to come down to Brickleberry National Park and scare him straight, only to find out that they were now all clean too and completely pussified to boot. Despite this, they still tried to scar Malloy straight with their talk about how evil they used to be in the past. Malloy told them that it sounded like they had such a good life back then and asked them why they stopped. The Cool Friends gang noticed that they had no reason to stop and that their current lives were horrible so they went back to their old ways and had Malloy join them. Denzel joined in too and they went around Hazelhurst and threatened a bunch of people at gunpoint to give them stuff until they eventually all got arrested. Murder Bone was able to call in favors to get himself, Bug Eyes, and Fool bailed out of prison but left Denzel and Malloy high and dry and abandoned them completely.
