~ Copperhead to Batman.
Copperhead is an escape mistress and one of the eight assassins hired by Black Mask to kill Batman on Christmas Eve at Gotham City. She is a supporting antagonist in Batman: Arkham Origins.
Copperhead's real name and origins are completely unknown since she never revealed them and her fingerprints had been burnt off with acid. Before appearing in Gotham City, Copperhead was already famous throughout South America for her skills as an escape artist. Having successfully broke out of 14 different Prisons. She also has tattoos that suggest a connection to membership to a Central American gang.
Arkham Origins[]
On Christmas Eve, Copperhead is one of the eight assassins hired by Black Mask (later revealed to be the Joker) to kill Batman for $50 million. When Batman uses the memory card of the Drone to identify the assassins on the Batcomputer, Copperhead is seen in the GCPD being interrogated by a cop who she then kills as she escapes and recieves an envelope with the reward promise. She is seen in Sionis' Steel Mill after Batman arrives where, whilst searching for Black Mask, Batman encounters one of Jokers dead men inside the elevator shaft. After scanning his body, Batman discovers he was killed by a poison in his system. Whilst interrogating Black Mask, Copperhead ambushes and attacks Batman, managing to poison him with her deadly claws. Black Mask escapes during the confusion and this leads to Copperhead escaping too, with Batman heading to ground level after telling Alfred Pennyworth to drop an antidote. While on his way, Batman had hallucinations of Alfred saying his a dishonour to the Wayne family and both the Bank Manager and Commissioner Loeb complaining that Batman didn't save them.
Batman enters the ground level and then finally encounters Copperhead but, due to the nerutoxin affecting his mind, various copies of herself are created in Batman's mind and attack him. When Batman fights off waves of Copperhead's clones, Batman gains the antidote and uses it, curing him. Copperhead makes a final attempt to kill him but is taken down and imprisoned in a metal crate. She tells Batman that Joker and other assassins are at a meeting, while pleading to be released but Batman ignores her and locks her up. He then calls the Police to capture her, imprisoning her in Blackgate Prison. Unfortunately for Copperhead, the cops have become wise to her tricks and imprison her in a glass walled cell to prevent her slipping through the bars. This appears to be successful as she has not escaped since.
Skills and Abilities[]
Contortion: Copperhead has an almost inhuman ability to bend and contort her body, escaping through cell bars mere inches apart with very minimal effort.
Arsenal[]
Poisoned Nails: Copperhead's signature weapons are her elongated claw-like nails that are sharp enough to slash a throat open but also contain a hallucinogenic neurotoxin. The effects of this toxin are very similiar to Scarecrow's Fear Toxin; causing hallucinations and severely warping the affected person's mind and sight.

Copperhead seemed to be the first assassin to know that the Joker was impersonating Black Mask, as she had already learned it before the Royal Hotel meeting.
"Pendejo" and "cabrón", were the names that Copperhead gave to Batman in Spanish, which are both variations of "asshole" in English. Since Copperhead uses these words repeatedly, she makes the most curses in the game.
