Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) also known as Corona Virus, is the titular main antagonist that appeared in the Family Guy COVID Vaccine PSA, being a fictionalized version of the real-life virus that triggers COVID-19. It is a personified version of the corona virus, which is a deadly disease that has spread across the world and infected and killed millions. It strongly resembles Meg Griffin.
Biography[]
In the PSA, Peter Griffin got infected with the corona virus and went to Dr. Hartman to help cure himself with the vaccine. Inside of his body, as Stewie narrated, the corona virus entered Peter's body and started destroying his cells and tissues in his lungs. Thankfully, the vaccine used the genetic code of the corona virus to create a fake version of the virus, which resembled the spike protein of the virus but was unable to negatively infect Peter. This exposed the corona virus to Peter's immune system and trained his immune cells to make antibodies against the virus. After being trained with the vaccine, Peter's immune system was prepared to handle the real virus, when it infiltrated his body. The immune cells killed all of the corona virus cells and took pictures of it so that they could remember what it looks like, just in case the corona virus ever came back again.
