Corro is a minor antagonist in the AMC series Into the Badlands, serving as the main antagonist of the prequel comic Pole of a Falling Star.
He was a ruthless and sadistic Clipper of the Armadillo Territory prior to Quinn taking over. He is ultimately responsible for turning Quinn into the savage tyrant he became due to killing his father in front of him for the small crime of stealing an ear of corn.
Personality[]
Corro was shown to be violent and brutal in his enforcement of the Clipper and Cog hierarchy. He had a great deal of bigotry towards Cogs, referring to them as dirty and disgusting, willing to punish them for extremely minor crimes such as stealing food or even just starring at him. He appeared to find any opportunity to kill Cogs, as seen when he murdered Quinn's father as punishment for his son stealing an ear of corn. Corro was also shown to enjoy seeing Doll prostitutes, suggesting he is a misogynist. He also was quite cowardly in his final moments, showing his brutality and intimidation came from his position of power over others rather than actual strength.
Biography[]
Corro was a Clipper who rose through the ranks and became the Regent of the Armadillo Territory. One day, Corro ordered Quinn and his father to work the cornfields until noon. They returned late, which Corro lambasted them for, threatening them to not be late again. When he catches Quinn starring at him, he punishes Quinn's father by putting him on dawn patrol. Corro is then informed by his Clippers that the corn harvest is one short, suggesting Quinn or his father stole an ear of corn. Corro kicks Quinn to the ground, causing him to drop the hidden ear of corn, at which point Quinn's father steps in and claims he was only ordering his son to steal the corn, and he should be punished. While Corro knows this is a lie, he dragons Quinn's father to a nearby tree and beats him to death in front of Quinn anyways. Quinn is later given a chance to become a Clipper by training as a Colt. He is put in the Colt pits with the biggest Colt the Baron could find. Quinn surprisingly wins, but because he asks for permission to kill the Colt, the Baron orders Corro to give Quinn a bath and a hot meal before sending him back to the fields, telling him he must take the power he wants and not ask for it. Quinn responds to this by waiting until night and finding Corro sleeping with a Doll prostitute, stabbing him in the back and throwing him over a balcony. Corro begs for mercy, but Quinn cuts off his head and delivers it to the Baron. Rather than be angry over his Regent's death, the Baron finally sees Quinn's savagery, and makes him a Colt.

- Martial Arts/Swordsmanship: As a Clipper of his territory, Corro would have been highly skilled in terms of combat ability.
- Leadership: Under his Baron, Corro was in charge of the Cogs in the cornfields, who he was tasked with keeping in line.
Trivia[]
- Corro is shown to be the antithesis to Sunny, as he kills Cogs and sleeps with Dolls, while Sunny does not enjoy killing innocents and enters actual romantic relationships.
