The Corrupternment are a major antagonistic faction of the video Disgaea 4: A Memory Unforgotten.
History[]
The Corrupternment is the official government that leads a select Netherworld. The President who runs the Corrupternment is chosen through combat, Death King Hugo would become President this way.
Eventually, Death King Hugo would notice that Fear Energy, the energy that sustains Demons and is created when humans fear demons, had begun to deplete.

Death King Hugo[]
Death King Hugo is the 61st President of the Netherworld. He is put in the unfavorable position of having to obey Judge Nemo while making sure to protect the Netherworld the best he can. He is ordered to suppress any rebellions, illegally arrest any Demons who go to Earth, allowed humanity to dump their trash in the Netherworld and tried to genocide the Prinnies.
He is defeated by Valvatorez and the Hades Party, relieving him of his position.
Axel[]
Axel, after being captured by the Corrupternment, is imprisoned in Hades. Due to his good behavior, he is promoted to being the warden of Hades and aids the Corrupternment in genociding the Prinnies.
After Axel's constant failures, the Corrupternment chose him as the patient zero of the A-Virus which would turn everyone in the Netherworld into Axel. A cure would be found and administered to everyone.
After Death King Hugo is defeated, Valvatorez hands off the title of President to the first person who takes it, that being Axel, making him the 62nd President of the Netherworld.
Flonne, Raspberyl, Etna & Laharl[]
Thanks to the effects of Fear the Great, various other beings were manipulated into becoming the President of the Netherworld, each one would rule over the Netherworld during their short time as President until they were defeated and
Torn Desco[]
After Torn Desco was created, she immediately took over the Corrupternment and started to convert the Netherworld into a paradise for her sister, Fuka Kazamatsuri.
Torn Desco would eventually fuse back with Desco.
The Ten Overlords, Seven Yakshas, Four Devas & Three Brutes[]
These are multiple powerful groups of Demons who personally protect the Blight House from anyone who tries to invade it.
The Ten Overlords are the strongest group of Demons in the Blight House and are said to perpetuate all of the evildoings in the Netherworld. None of their names are known.
The Seven Yakshas are an immensely powerful group of Demons in the Blight House who each have the power to return the Netherworld to nothingness in just seven days. None of their names are known.
The Four Devas are a group of powerful Demons who guard the four gates of the Netherworld. All four of them have caused countless humans to spend sleepless nights and are strong enough to destroy the entire Netherworld. The Four Devas are comprised of Garatea of the East, Arsailles of the West, Graceus of the South, and Reprachon of the North.
The Three Brutes are a group of strong Demons who protect the Blight House and are said to have punished more humans than any demon ever has. The Three Brutes are composed of Psylos the Thunder, The Atrocious Tromayer and Baltis of Despair.
Death Emizel[]
Death Emizel is the one and only son of Death King Hugo. Emizel often uses his position and status as symbols of pride to those around him. He leads the Abaddon and tries to suppress any rebellions.
After his defeat, the Corrupternment would fabricate a story that Emizel had died, leaving Emizel all alone until he decided to fight back against the Corrupternment with the Hades Party.
The Abaddon[]
The Abaddon are the special task force of the Corrupternment. They personally suppress any rebellions that form against the Corrupternment. They are defeated by Valvatorez in Hades.
Fuka Kazamatsuri[]
Fuka Kazamatsuri is an Unprinny, a Prinny who doesn't have a Prinny Suit. She is tricked by the Corrupternment into genociding the Prinnies, being told that she will get to live a carefree life if she does so.
Fuka eventually learns this is a trick and joins the Hades Party to battle the Corrupternment.
Trivia[]
The naming of multiple aspects of the Corrupternment are puns on the United States government, the Blight House being named after the White House and the President's Evil Office being named after the Oval Office.
