Corvus, or the Corvus Confederation, is a major nation in the Roblox game CENTAURA
Corvus is a major nation in the roblox game CENTAURA that built one of the first power grids in Forma, before falling in decline in 1886 when the Empire of Cetus took South Corvus, a region full of iron and coal.
History[]
FORMATION[]
The Corvun peninsula was formerly a disunited collection of states, before the House of Khorin gathered them under their suzerainty, mirroring that of the Tau’s success in the south. Each province was ruled over by a lord, who were able to govern over most aspects with authorization by the monarch. These subdivisions also had established army garrisons and royal police forces, but with the declining economy the former was forced to fill in for the latter.
PRE-CENTAURA (1886 - 1908)[]
Corvus was a neutral nation in Centaura, mainly focusing on its infrastructure, until in 1886, when the neighbouring nation of Cetus invaded and annexed southern Corvus(home to much of corvun agriculture and coal), causing the nation to suffer, with mass starvation and rampant crime.
By 1900, the Corvun city streets were one of the most dangerous places in the entire nation. One unspoken rule at the time was that anyone walking down the streets must be very aware of their surroundings and be on high alert. When Corvun intelligence found out that the Cetan army was undermanned, they found an opportunity to get their revenge.
In 1908, after years of preparation, and mass recruitment, Corvus would declare war of Cetus to regain what they have lost.[1]
THE SCW AND THE REST OF THE CENTAURAN WAR (1908-1944)[]
In 1908, Corvus would began their war for revenge. Catching the Cetan Army by surprise, they advanced into Southern Corvus. Blackton, a small mining town was one of the first places invaded by the Corvuns. The Cetan Army would be able to hold them off, and with the help of their massive navy, would counterattack into Corvus. After heavy losses at Battery Q, and with the Navy being too disconnected, the Cetan counterattack would halt, and Corvus would push them back again.
The war would continue for 3 more years, and by 1910, both sides were in a brutal stalemate. In order to break this, the Corvuns decided to use a deadly weapon: Chlorine Gas.

Originally used as an industrial chemical used in the inner cities for sanitation, it proved devastating when repurposed as a weapon. However, the Cetan army was able to make countermeasures like gas masks and filters for the troops. Some encounters with the deadly gas were at Kelson Village, where garrisons had their food contaminated, and drinking water was risky. Some soldiers went mad and took off their masks, only to painfully die while coughing up blood.
Both sides were strained from the war, with Corvus at its breaking point. The gas attacks proved to be unsuccessful, and they were pushed back. Desperate, they requested for the Antares Imperium to help at the exchange of being assimilated. In late 1911, as Cetus was moving closer to a massive counterattack, Antares invaded south.
By this point, the Cetan Army was severely undermanned, and they had to divert troops from the north to defend the south. As supplies and resources began to dwindle, morale went along with it. By mid 1912, the last Cetan forces had collapsed, and the entire mainland was occupied.
This was not the end for the Cetans, however. Several mutinied armies from the Exercitus Maris (shortened as the EM) were furious at their nation’s capitulation, and began to plot their attack. The EM landed on multiple points in the nation, hoping to reclaim a piece of their homeland. One of these landing spots was at Whitemouth Estuary. The landings would turn unsuccessful, and the remaining Naval forces would either surrender or flee up north, and the entirety of Cetus would be annexed, with Corvus (now Skorpii Corvus getting Southern Corvus back. Corvus didn't do much after being assimilated. They helped Antares fight Columba and Riaa.
After the Southern Corvus War, Antarean garrisons would be sent to repair the streets of Corvus, as the citizens began to welcome their new landlords.
DEAD AHEAD (1948-1961)[]
Corvus was liberated by Orion somewhere around 1959, and got to keep Southern Corvus, which possibly removed any need of military conflict with its Cetan or Riaan neighbours, even if it still caused irreparable straining of relations.

- Corvus’s religion is rather brutal, because it requires pascation of an enemy soldier.
- Pascation is the act of disemboweling a human before leaving them to rot and have the remains eaten by crows for sacrifice.
- Corvus’ fate is left vague after the Forman Wars, while Antares was dismantled, Corvus either managed to keep South Corvus or got partitioned. Either way, those are only rumors and is not actually confirmed.
- Corvus is the first nation in Forma to use Chemical Warfare.
