Cory Calder is the main antagonist of The Revenge, the second story in the second Goosebumps Triple Header book.
Biography[]
After she tells on him for a school prank, Cory seeks revenge on Amelia. When he sees her walking with her friend, Isaac, he throws a tennis ball into the street so Amelia's dog, Fluffy, will run after it. Amelia swears revenge.
A psychic named Madame Margo gives Amelia the power to astral project herself, but this further angers Cory, who keeps picking on Isaac. Unbeknownst to Amelia, Cory is Madame Margo's nephew, and also has the power to astral project. He follows Amelia with plans to trap her in the astral realm forever.
Fortunately, Fluffy (who accidentally followed Amelia) is able to fend Cory off. She ends up trapped in the astral realm, but is still able to keep Cory in line so he is unable to bother anyone.
Physical Appearance[]
Cory is described as having short, crinkly red hair and eyes the color of mud. He is also the biggest kid in eight grade.
Personality[]
Cory is shown to be cruel and sadistic, calling people insulting nicknames and picking on kids. He is also shown to be evil, trying to trap Amelia in the astral realm forever.
Trivia[]
- Cory is one of the few bullies in the Goosebumps franchise to actually be the main antagonist of a story rather than just a side character.
