~ Cory Romando |
Cory Romando is a one-time villain from the Netflix original series, Paradise P.D. He is a corporate hack, who works as a producer for Disney.
Biography[]
In "Who Ate Wally's Waffles?", Dusty took Delbert to Disney World and introduced him to Cory Romando, introducing him as the actor who played Wall-Eyed Wally from the eponymous TV show and asked for a reboot of the series. Cory agreed to make a reboot and hired Delbert as his client, as well as hiring Dusty as an executive for the show.
Robby came to Disney World to get Delbert back but Cory refused to let him take his star away. Delbert agreed to stick with Cory, saying that he gets more respect from his agent than he ever did from Robby. Cory Romando gave Delbert a private tour of Disney World, which ended with him getting trapped in the Disney dungeon.
Delbert said that his biological parents were going to set him free once they found out about him but Cory let Delbert know that he had no biological parents, as he wasn't born in the traditional sense. He was "imagineered", which meant that he was a genetically modified human that was created in an artificial vat of acid in the Disney secret laboratory. It was at this point, Delbert wished he had gone back with Robby.
The next day, Cory Romando was directing the first episode of the Wall-Eyed Wally reboot, when Robby came in to bust Delbert out and save him. Robby and Delbert managed to get past security and all of the lawyers.
Cory went to unfreeze the brain of Walt Disney and put it into the body of the Disney Castle, turning the castle into a giant robot which would chase after them. Walt Disney caught Delbert and got ready to take him back to the studios. However, Robby made a wish on a star to get his friend back and so, Walt set him free. Cory was pissed off about this but as explained by one of the Disney lawyers, they had to set Delbert free because granting one wish to every Disney fan is a legal requirement, established by Walt, himself.
Cory hesitantly let Delbert go as he had no other choice. When Dusty complained about this, Cory yelled that he was forced to do what he did. Dusty continued to rant and bitch about not knowing how his favorite TV show was going to end. Exasperated, Cory threw Dusty the original script for the episode and told him to just read that to find out and then stormed off, as Dusty read the script for once was delighted to see that the episode ended with them finding out that Wally's dog, Toby the Dog ate Wally's waffles.
