This meeting resulted in the formation of a new Confederacy of Independent Systems to oppose the Republic.

Dooku assured them that the Jedi and the Republic would be overwhelmed by their combined forces.

Count Dooku makes his way to a secret hangar but was pursued by Kenobi and Skywalker's gunship.

The Jedi arrived as Dooku was preparing his solar sailer for launch and confronted him.

As Dooku prepared to leave, he was confronted by Kenobi and Skywalker.

Skywalker impatiently charged at the Count but before he could reach Dooku however, the Count intercepted Skywalker with a blast of Force lightning.

Dooku's resulting blast of Force lightning hit him and telekinetically threw him against the wall of the hangar.

Skywalker collapsed to the floor, temporarily incapacitated, leaving Kenobi alone to face Dooku.

Dooku remarked that his powers were far beyond those of Kenobi and ordered him to back down before releasing a blast of lightning at the Jedi.

Dooku and Obi-Wan begin the duel with a slash.

Kenobi initiated the duel by aggressively charging the Count, but Dooku deflected Kenobi's opening attack and his subsequent jab.

After a quick flurry of bladework, Kenobi sliced at Dooku's legs, but the Count leapt over the strike and flourished his blade to drive Kenobi back as he landed.

As Kenobi retreated, Dooku remarked upon his disappointment.

Tyranus notes that he had expected a better performance from someone who was held in such high esteem by Yoda.

Dooku taunts Ob-Wan asking if he can duel better.

A short while later, Kenobi was pulled into a blade-lock by the Count.

Dooku, a full grin on his face, parried Kenobi's weapon and jabbed at his arm, slicing it open and causing Kenobi to drop his lightsaber.

As Dooku lifted his lightsaber to finish Kenobi, Skywalker ignited his lightsaber and used the Force to leap across the hanger.

Dooku turned to regard Skywalker and mocked him for his earlier foolishness.

Skywalker ignited the second blade and unleashed a flurry of Jar'Kai bladework upon the Count.

Initially taken off his guard by Skywalker's aggressive series of attacks, Dooku briefly retreated but managed after a short time to regain his composure.

As he regrouped, Skywalker flicked his remaining weapon through a power cable on the floor, damaging it and causing the hangar lights to flicker out for a brief while.

Dooku then slowly advanced on Skywalker and both angled their blades into a high guard position.

Dooku's red blade illuminates his face while dueling Anakin.

Both combatants spent a short time regarding each other in silence, then engaged in a relatively long and continual bout of swordplay.

Though Skywalker managed in that time to hold his own against the Count, Dooku unceremoniously ended the duel.

As Anakin shouted in agony, Dooku blasted him aside with a Force push.

Dooku catches his breath feeling winded after defeating both Jedi.

Count Dooku greets his old Master Yoda when he enters the hangar.

Dooku asserted that his diminutive former master would not interfere and telekinetically flung a pair of wall fixtures at him.

Yoda repelled the fixtures with his own powers, but launched no counteroffensive.

Dooku then used the Force to break apart a small portion of the hangar ceiling, which he dropped onto Yoda.

Tyranus boasted that his power was now greater than that of any Jedi, even Yoda's own and unleashed Force lightning at the Jedi.

Without any apparent strain, Yoda redirected the blast back at Dooku, who deflected the lightning into a nearby wall.

Dooku proceeded to unleash a second volley of lightning against Yoda.

As a demonstration of his superior mastery, Yoda absorbed the bolt completely.

Recognizing the futility of continuing his Force-based assault, Dooku challenged Yoda to lightsaber combat.

Dooku insisted on settling their contest with a lightsaber duel and ignited his blade.

Yoda silently accepted and ignited his own weapon, and the two combatants leapt at each other.

Leaping into action, the two engaged in a fierce duel.

The two masters of the Force go head-to-head in a fierce duel.

Yoda and Dooku engaged in a lightsaber duel.

After defeating Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, Dooku duels his former master, Yoda.

Yoda spins around while dueling Count Dooku.

Darth Tyranus points his blade at Yoda while he prepares another strike.

Yoda, using his mastery of the Force, showed great agility as he leaped about the room, with Tyranus becoming increasingly frustrated at his inability to overcome the diminutive master.

Yoda was able to gain a slight but visible advantage over the Count.

In a blade-lock, Dooku tells Yoda that this is just the beginning.

Recognizing that he could not defeat Yoda, and forced to act due to incoming Republic reinforcements, Dooku diverted Yoda's focus by using the Force to collapse one of the hangar's power columns onto Kenobi and Skywalker.

Yoda broke off the duel in order to telekinetically catch the power column, while Dooku quickly boarded his Geonosian solar sailer.

Having fled the battle, Dooku set his course for Coruscant, landing undetected on the Republic capital with his solar sailor in the Works in a deserted building.

Upon reaching the secret lair, Tyranus disembarks and greets his master.

Tyranus met with his Master and informed him that events were moving forward and the long-planned war had begun which pleased Sidious with what his apprentice had accomplished and that things were going according to his plan.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars film

The Separatists control the majority of the hyperlanes, leaving Republic forces stranded in different parts of the Outer Rim.

Asajj Ventress contacts Count Dooku from the abandoned monastery on Teth.

Dooku tells Ventress that everything is going as planned.

Ventress kneels when Lord Sidious enters the transmission.

Sidious assured them that the Jedi would be at war with the Hutts as well the Confederacy.

Count Dooku contacts Ventress on Teth to update her progress.

Dooku was informed that the Jedi had arrived to rescue the Huttlet.

Ventress insisted that she could kill both the Master and Padawan at that moment, the Count cautioned patience.

Dooku promised an opportunity to hunt the Jedi once she had collected the data he needed to frame the Jedi.

Kenobi departed the palace, which was followed by the arrival of Count Dooku himself.

Count Dooku ventured to Tatooine and snarled when seeing the Jedi leave.

Dooku speaks with Jabba the Hutt, claiming that the Jedi were behind his son's kidnapping.

Count Dooku states that the Jedi were plotting to destroy Jabba.

When Jabba demanded proof, Dooku said he shall provide it.

Dooku tells Ventress to arrange for the espionage droid 4A-7 to edit a recording of Skywalker and Tano to show that they were kidnapping the child.

The data was sent to Dooku on Tatooine, who instructed his apprentice that she was now to recover the Huttlet and return him to Jabba.

Dooku delivered in the form of a manipulated holographic recording allegedly showing Skywalker and Tano, who had found Rotta on Teth, harming the child, when in reality they were caring for it after he had fallen ill.

The ruse was successful, and Dooku was able to fool Jabba into believing his deception.

This recording enraged Jabba, who demanded that Rotta be rescued and Skywalker's head delivered to him.

The Count agreed on the condition that the Hutts would join the Separatists' cause.

Jabba tells Count Dooku he is losing patience and demands an update on his son's kidnapping (deleted scene).

Dooku assures Jabba that his droid army is on the verge of defeating the Jedi and rescuing his heir.

Dooku asks Jabba while they wait if they can negotiate a treaty between his Hutt clans and Dooku's Separatists.

But Jabba states he will not discuss any treaty until his son has been returned alive and Dooku reluctantly obliges.

Dooku reminded her of the stakes of their conspiracy.

Count Dooku tells Ventress the goal was to gain access to the Hutt's network of secret hyperspace routes.

When Asajj said she would double her efforts, Dooku says for her sake he hopes she does.

Ventress in the hologram was distracted by the arrival of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was leading the Republic reinforcements.

Asajj Ventress, contacted the Count, who played her message in front of Jabba and his court.

In failure, Ventress was forced to contact Dooku and explain to him and Jabba the Hutt that Skywalker had killed Rotta before she could intervene.

Although Dooku had hoped she at least managed to kill the Jedi after losing control of the Huttlet, she admitted that Skywalker had escaped and was on his way to Tatooine.

Jabba questioned why the Jedi would come to Tatooine, to which Dooku said that the Jedi plot had become clear and that Skywalker would soon arrive to kill the crime lord and wipe out the entire Hutt Clan.

Although displeased with Ventress's failure, Dooku used the situation to his advantage by convincing Jabba that the Jedi sought to gain complete control of Hutt Space without Jabba's interference.

Dooku lies more about the Jedi plot to eliminate the Hutts.

Dooku promised Jabba that he would personally deal with Skywalker.

Count Dooku dispatches IG-100 MagnaGuards.

Jabba, believing Dooku, allowed him to send battle droids to deal with Skywalker personally.

Dooku tells Jabba that his MagnaGuards managed to shoot down the Jedi's vessel.

Count Dooku is told by Jabba that he sent bounty hunters after the Jedi.

Dooku endeavored to kill the Jedi himself.

Senator Padmé Amidala eluded her IG-86 sentinel droid escort and infiltrated Ziro the Hutt's throne room.

Fearing that his role would be discovered, Ziro contacted Dooku, informing him of Amidala's investigation.

Dooku assured Ziro that Jabba believed him about the Jedi killing his son.

Knowing Jabba would execute the Jedi responsible for killing his son, Dooku assured Ziro that he would become master of all the Hutt Clans when the Jedi would bring Jabba to justice.

Dooku then ordered Ziro to eliminate Senator Amidala if she continued investigating.

Ziro and Dooku hear a commotion in the throne room.

Padmé attempted to sneak out with the information, but she was apprehended by one of Ziro's sentinel droids.

Dooku, Ziro and his IG-86 sentinel droids then found Senator Amidala.

Count Dooku pleasantly greets Padmé but the Hutt and Sith agree she's heard too much.

Dooku tells Ziro that members of the CIS leadership would pay handsomely for Senator Amidala.

Dooku realized that it was Padmé, he told Ziro that his allies would pay him for delivering Amidala to him and Ziro agreed to the deal, and placed her in his dungeon.

Ziro thanked Dooku for the profitable alliance and the Sith said he would contact him once he had the Huttlet.

Count Dooku ends his holographic communication with Ziro.

An OOM command battle droid tells Dooku the Jedi have been spotted in the desert.

Dooku smiles knowing the Jedi is Skywalker.

Riding his speeder bike into the desert, the Count soon discovered Skywalker, who was waiting for him.

As Dooku dismounted his speeder bike, Skywalker ignited his lightsaber.

Dooku quickly demanded that Skywalker surrender the Huttlet or die.

Dooku unleashing a barrage of Force lightning at Skywalker who absorbed the attack with his lightsaber.

Seeing the futility of his assault, Dooku stopped the barrage of Force lightning.

Dooku pulls off his hood and brandishes his lightsaber.

Dooku quickly saluted Skywalker before the two charged each other.

As the combatants met, Dooku opened the battle with a rapid overhand, Skywalker parrying before countering.

Dodging, Dooku quickly lunged forwards, though Skywalker batted aside the attack.

Dooku easily evaded and held off Anakin's wild attacks, and unleashed another overhand, forcing his opponent into a bladelock.

In the momentary lull, Dooku tauntingly complemented Anakin, stating that his training had come a long way.

Angered, Anakin broke the lock and hacked at Dooku's waist.

As their bout resumed, Dooku momentarily shifted to a one-handed hold of his blade.

After a series of power-struggles, the two combatants disengaged.

Using the second pause, Dooku again taunted, this time about the feelings of pain and loss he felt from Anakin.

Dooku's taunts confused and enraged Anakin, who in a fit of anger, unleashed a massive Force push against Dooku who crouched for a moment to protect himself from the flurry of sand kicked up from the Force.

Dooku flourished his blade and countered with his own Force push.

With Skywalker knocked off his feet and disarmed by Dooku's counter-attack, the Count seized the moment and leapt at the Jedi, blade raised for the kill.

Skywalker managed to summon his weapon back to his hand in time to block Dooku's attack.

Dooku bares his teeth while in a blade-lock with Skywalker.

As Skywalker pushed Dooku's blade aside and regained his feet, the Count managed to slash the Jedi across the back, cutting Skywalker's backpack in half.

Count Dooku tells Anakin he failed as he supposedly killed Rotta.

Dooku stands shocked as Anakin revealed that the backpack was full of rocks, and that Rotta himself was with Ahsoka Tano.

Dooku was not surprised, stating that he expected such a deception and that his "web was strong enough to catch your insignificant little Padawan".

As Skywalker retorted that Ahsoka was more skillful than Dooku believed, a seemingly enraged Dooku countered that Anakin was simply deceiving himself.

Dooku and Skywalker engage in lightsaber combat.

With that, Dooku charged, and the two continued their battle.

Dooku confronted Skywalker, dueling across the dunes.

Anakin remained defensive until he dodged a slash at his neck, at which point he seized the offense.

Count Dooku finds Skywalker has grown in his power since he bested him, but he remains confidant in his own abilities.

Crossing sabers with Anakin again on Tatooine, Dooku was impressed by his newfound powers.

Dooku goads Skywalker into an overly aggressive attack.

The Count tempts the young Jedi into drawing on the dark side himself.

After another long and vicious bout of swordplay, Dooku blasted Anakin aside with a Force push.

Stating that he had a message from Skywalker's Padawan, Dooku produced a hologram of the IG-100 MagnaGuards Dooku had left in wait at the palace attacking Ahsoka.

Dooku, not fooled, then displayed a hologram of Tano fighting MagnaGuards.

An enraged Anakin attacked Dooku who blocked the lightsaber strike.

Skywalker managed to kick the Count in the face, knocking him down the dune side.

Anakin then managed to knock the Count down a sandy embankment, ending the duel in a draw.

As Anakin looked down at the seemingly defeated Dooku, the Count stated that after his droids killed Rotta, Ahsoka would be delivered to Jabba for "punishment for the Huttlet's murder".

Dooku taunted that he couldn't imagine Jabba being merciful and Anakin left to save Ahsoka, departing on Dooku's own speeder.

Anakin vanished into the distance and Dooku mounted the dune.

Dooku observed as Skywalker raced off to rescue his Padawan.

Dooku laughs evilly as he has one trap left to spring.

As Dooku departed Tatooine, he apologized to Darth Sidious for his failure.

The Sith Lord was somewhat disconcerted by his failure on Tatooine, though Sidious advised him that the tide of the war was still in their favor.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars series

Tactical droid TX-20 interrupts Dooku's mediation.

Dooku was informed by TX-20 that the Jedi were sending Senator Bail Organa of Alderaan to the neutral system Toydaria to negotiate a treaty to establish supply lines to the Republic garrison and the Twi'lek people.

Dooku tells TX-20 to contact Senator Lott Dod as he wishes to speak with him.

On Rugosa, the Toydarian monarch King Katuunko and his retinue await the arrival of their Jedi envoy when Asajj Ventress arrives and presents Katuunko with a hologram of Count Dooku.

Dooku attempts to express the Jedi's supposed incapability to protect Toydaria in hopes of swaying the king to his cause.

Dooku tells the king that he learned he was considering joining the Republic and was going to speak with his former master Yoda.

Dooku asks the Katuunko how the Jedi can protect them if they were incapable of protecting themselves.

Dooku stated that the Separatist Droid Army could better protect Toydaria, outnumbering the Grand Army of the Republic 100-to-one.

Katuunko debated with the Count over the abilities of the Jedi and the droid army.

Dooku tells the king that when he decides to join the Separatist his apprentice will contact him.

With the pleasantries done, Dooku bowed respectfully and ended the transmission.

After returning to her base, Ventress contacted Dooku and stated that her forces were being deployed.

Dooku approved of her deal, believing that Yoda made a mistake in venturing far from Coruscant.

Ventress tells Dooku she will see that the Jedi gets his "fair fight".

King Katuunko, fully convinced that the contest was over, contacted Count Dooku.

Through a holotransmission, Katuunko informed Dooku that one Jedi was not worth a hundred battle droids, but rather a thousand, and stated that he would be joining the Republic.

Dooku urged him to reconsider, but the Toydarian king refused to deal with those who went back on their promises, as Ventress had broken the terms of the competition.

Deciding that negotiations would be more fruitful with Katuunko's successor, Dooku spitefully ordered Ventress to murder the king.

Katuunko's guards tried to stop the Dark Acolyte, but Ventress merely Force-pushed them aside, knocking them unconscious.

Yoda prevented the murder, and Dooku watched as Ventress made her escape.

Dooku, watching the events unfold through the holoprojector, commented before taking his leave that it was a pity that he had not been there himself.

Dooku joined General Grievous aboard the heavy cruiser Malevolence in the Abregado system.

When a fleet of Republic cruisers entered the system, Dooku ordered Grievous to jam their communications.

Count Dooku tells Grievous that this will be a suitable test for their new weapon.

Seeing this as another opportunity to test the Malevolence 's ion cannons, Dooku gave Grievous the order to fire them.

The Malevolence discharged its cannons; as the wave approached, Koon and the clone troopers braced themselves for impact, the wave passed over the fleet and neutralized the cruisers' shields, and the vulnerable cruisers fell to fire from the numerous laser cannons.

To ensure the secrecy of the Malevolence 's ion cannons, Count Dooku dispatched rocket droids using a boarding ship to hunt and kill any survivors.

Grievous and Dooku became suspicious when they lost contact with the pod hunter.

Grievous and Dooku pick up a faint droid signal and the cyborg orders the ship into attack position.

Dooku wanted Grievous to make sure there were no witnesses and ordered him to destroy the Twilight.

Grievous reluctantly informs Count Dooku that the survivors have escaped, meaning the Republic will learn of the Separatists' secret weapon.

Dooku, displeased with the failure, lost faith in General Grievous's skills thus he would speak with his Master.

Dooku was watching the cyborg general's progress through a holotransmission and was pleased that the medical convoy had been eliminated.

With Count Dooku watching his progress via hologram, Grievous intercepted and eradicated a Republic medical convoy in the Ryndellia system.

Dooku berates Grievous for destroying battle droids telling the general they are expensive.

Dooku tells Grievous they will exploit the Jedi's weakness.

Count Dooku shows Grievous the coordinates to a secret Outer Rim medical station, the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center, which was treating over 60,000 wounded Republic clones.

Dooku assigned the medical center as the Malevolence 's new target, and the assignment.

The Count states they will end the clone's suffering by eliminating them completely.

Dooku tells Grievous he's confidant in leaving the battle ship with him.

En route to the medical facility, Dooku contacted Grievous through a hologram transmission, after he received intelligence from his Master, that the Republic had launched a small group of fighters to attack the Malevolence.

Grievous noted that the Malevolence 's hyperdrive was not fast and the warship's navicomputer was forced to recalculate its coordinates in order to go around the Kaliida Nebula.

The Sith Lord advised his general not to underestimate the Jedi, but Grievous maintained that it would be Skywalker who would underestimate the Separatist ship.

As the Malevolence fled under increasing fire from the Republic cruisers, Dooku contacted Grievous.

Dooku tells Grievous not to compound his failure by allowing the prized warship to fall.

Not wanting the General to lose the Malevolence, Dooku told Grievous that an important senator would be arriving and if captured the Republic would cease their attack.

Dooku contacted Grievous, stating that the general and his warship were being awaited at the rendezvous point.

Grievous cut off the transmission and escaped to hyperspace.

Grievous ending communications to the Count due to the shame of the ship being destroyed.

Dooku sardonically apologized for inconveniencing the Republic forces.

Dooku claimed he would be offering them an "alternative prize" to compensate for their failed attempt to recapture Gunray.

Count Dooku's image faded away, leaving a flashing button on the chair's control panel.

Dooku soon contacts General Grievous and warns him that his ongoing stalemate in the war has become unacceptable.

The Count confirms to Grievous that this is a test for him before the cyborg cuts off the transmission.

Returning to his castle, Grievous proceeded to the sanctum overlook chamber, where Count Dooku awaited a report via hololink.

Grievous stated that the Jedi had been defeated, and while Dooku revealed that victory over Vebb and the clones had been expected, the Sith Lord was pleased, however he was disappointed when he learned that Fisto had escaped and stated that there was "room for improvement" before severing the connection.

Kenobi and Skywalker enter Dooku's quarters where they find the Sith Lord serenely mediating in a cross-legged pose.

The Jedi ignite their lightsabers, but Dooku does not budge.

Dooku greets the Jedi and states he thought he sensed an unpleasant disturbance in the Force.

As Skywalker and Kenobi confronted the Sith Lord, the Republic Star Destroyer Resolute opened fire on Dooku's frigate.

Anakin orders Dooku to surrender, but the Sith Lord instead trips a trap door and vanishes through an escape hatch.

The Count looks as a party of over a dozen Weequay pirates loots the shuttle and sailor.

The pirate leader, Hondo Ohnaka, spots the confident Dooku striding toward the landing area.

Ohnaka was not intimidated by Dooku's stately manner while his pet, Pilf Mukmuk, sits on Dooku's shoulder.

The Kowakian monkey-lizard, Pilf Mukmuk, leapt on Dooku's shoulders while Hondo questioned him.

Hondo complemented the Solar Sailor, realizing the wealth of this stranger and Dooku allowed the pirates to raid his craft.

Ohnaka, playing the helpful type, offers Dooku transport to the nearest planet, Florrum, six parsecs away.

Ohnaka's offer was taken by Dooku, who agreed to pay in order to escape from Skywalker and Kenobi and the Sith hid his lightsabers so as not to show his status.

Hondo orders his men to return to the ship; they are heading home with their new "guest."

Taking the Count to the planet Florrum, Ohnaka put the ship down in his organization's base.

When they arrived at Ohnaka's base, Dooku is unarmed and surrounded by dozens of pirates.

Dooku arrived at their destination, but after stepping onto the planet Florrum Dooku was surrounded at blasterpoint by the gang.

Dooku warned the pirates that they were not dealing with a Jedi, but a Sith Lord.

Hondo then revealed he had known that Dooku was the Confederacy's leader, and also revealed that he now possessed Dooku's lightsaber thinking he was a Jedi, and told the Sith he was outnumbered.

Dooku attempted to negotiate that if he could get proper means of communications, he could call someone to pay any ransom for him, but Hondo knew that if the Count contacted the Confederacy, their armies would crush them in order to get Dooku free of charge.

Count Dooku was taken into the pirate's custody, so that he could be given away at a high ransom.

Ohnaka contacted the Republic Supreme Chancellor, asking for a million credits in spice, in exchange for the Count.

Palpatine and several others spoke with Hondo via hologram, and the pirate showed an embarrassed Dooku.

Ohnaka arranged a meeting between the Jedi and Dooku, who was suspended splayed in a containment field.

Kenobi and Skywalker grin at the Sith Lord's turn of misfortune.

Dooku remained defiant, confident that he won't remain a captive for long.

After Anakin and Obi-Wan entered Dooku's cell and subtly mocked his current imprisonment, Dooku relished in the thought that the Jedi would soon join him in captivity.

The Count warned Kenobi that the Weequay were "devious and deceitful, and most importantly...stupid."

When the blackout hits the base, Dooku make his escape.

Noticing this, the Sith Lord silently opened the cell's door releasing him.

Falso was about to flee in a Flarestar-class attack shuttle knowing that Ohnaka would figure out his betrayal, when he was suddenly choked and lifted into the air by an unseen force.

Turk Falso and Barb Mentir make their way to a waiting starship when Falso stops mid-stride, clutching at his throat and Mentir watched as Count Dooku emerged from the shadows and manipulated Falso into shooting Mentir in the chest.

During the initial start of the Republic's return to Ryloth, Dooku assured Tambor that the Republic forces were spread thin in its sector and that it would be suicide for the Republic.

Dooku informs Tambor that his tactical droid has informed him of the "pitiful job" he has done of protecting the Separatists' investment on Ryloth.

Knowing that Tambor was no match for Windu, Dooku ordered him to retreat with valuables that can be taken with him and to destroy everything else on Ryloth.

Tambor is rather alarmed, but Dooku explains: Ryloth's fate will demonstrate to the galaxy the cost of a "Republic victory".

Count Dooku then contacted Tambor again, shocked that he had not left yet.

Dooku demanded Tambor that he needed to take off the planet, and steal every available resource on the only Separatist base at the city of Lessu.

Dooku, growing impatient with the Emir, ordered him to leave before the Republic arrives.

Dooku believed the Mandalorians will be so resentful of the Republic invasion that when they arrive, the splinter group will be viewed as saviors by the people.

Sidious expresses concern about possible interference by the Duchess Satine, but is assured by Dooku that a Death Watch assassin will take care of her.

At the Death Watch base, a siren is blaring and a voice repeatedly orders all troops to stand down infuriating Pre Vizsla who complains to Dooku that his promise of Death Watch's rise to power on Mandalore failed.

Seething, Vizsla used the Count as a target for his frustration and stated his intention to continue with the invasion.

Dooku advised against such a rash action—despite the Death Watch's capability of conquering Mandalore, they would only be able to hold the planet for no more than a day if they did not have the people's support.

Dooku cited Vizsla's inexperience in battle, attributing it to his rashness.

The Sith tells Vizsla to have patience dismissing his attempts to premature conquer the planet.

Dooku stated that he had other ways of accomplishing their goal and Vizsla continues to angrily stare through the hologram.

To prove his loyalty, the Count was ordered to eliminate Ventress and Dooku tried to convince Sidious not to do this, but his master snapped and demanded it.

Tyranus began to protest that Ventress was his most trusted subordinate, but as Sidious harshly repeated his demand, the Sith apprentice bowed and obeyed.

When Ventress' starfighter was critically damaged, she contacted Dooku for help.

Dooku tells his apprentice that she already lost the battle and informed her that he recalled her reinforcements.

Ventress implored Dooku to help destroy the Jedi and that she would prove it.

Dooku coldly states that Ventress has failed him for the last time, telling her that she was no longer his apprentice and that she would soon die.

Count Dooku made contact with TJ-912 via hologram on the bridge of her frigate.

Dooku orders the command ship carrying Ventress and the Jedi to be destroyed but TJ-912 questioned the order, but ultimately followed it when Dooku confirmed his intention.

The tactical droid aboard the attacking ship reports to Dooku that the command ship is destroyed and that their scanning indicated there were no survivors, unaware that Ventress had in fact escaped at the last moment.

Pleased his aim had presumably been accomplished, Count Dooku declared the tactical droid's work done and ordered her to recall the remaining ships of the fleet from the area, an order she acknowledged.

Dooku sits solemnly in his palace after "killing" his apprentice.

Believing Ventress to be dead, Tyranus contacted Darth Sidious.

In her feverish dreams, Ventress recalls her memories of meeting Dooku.

In the dreams, Dooku tells Ventress he will teach her the ways of the dark side but she had to prove herself.

The Count asleep in his bed while Asajj Ventress and her two Nightsisters became invisible and infiltrated Castle Serenno on Serenno.

The assassins enter Dooku's sleeping chamber through the ceiling.

Ventress shot a poison dart that had been dipped in Nightsister poison into Dooku's neck waking him from his slumber.

Startled, Dooku jumps out of bed and retrieves his lightsaber with the Force from his nightstand.

The Count winces when he pulls out the poisoned dart from his neck.

Dooku keeps his guard up with the activated lightsaber in hand.

Dooku armed himself with his lightsaber, but quickly began to lose his vision as a result of the poison.

The Count, blinded by a toxic dart, was under the impression the assassins were Jedi.

Nevertheless he attacked his assailants, who he assumed to be Jedi on the basis of their lightsaber blades.

Ventress attacked Dooku with a lightsaber, beginning their duel in the Count's bedroom.

Posing as Jedi, Ventress and her Nightsister accomplices took along stolen Jedi lightsabers to engage Dooku in combat.

His senses dulled by Ventress' poison dart and the cloak of invisibility which surrounds his attackers, Dooku is caught at a disadvantage but fights back furiously.

Ventress, Karis, and Naa'leth went in on the Sith Lord, striking to kill their target who remained a dangerous and talented foe despite his impairments.

Dooku fights back against both the cloaked assassins.

Count Dooku manages to shove one of the invisible Nightsisters against the wall with the Force.

The Dathomirian nearly took the Sith Lord's life, but Dooku surprised his three assassins with a sudden and overwhelming blast of Force lightning.

As Ventress readied her death blow, Dooku electrifies Ventress with in one extremely powerful blast of Force lightning.

The blast of lightning incapacitated all three Nightsisters, lifting them into the air.

Dooku hurls bolts of Force lightning at the three and held them in mid-air.

Dooku then flings the three through his window and out of the palace towards the forests below.

Count Dooku evicted the assassins from his palace out the window and over a cliff, ending the attack and disrupted their invisibility spell.

After the assassination attempt, the palace sustained damage in the process.

Having only narrowly survived the attempt on his life, Dooku was now vulnerable.

Dooku receives a hologram from Mother Talzin, who was aware of the loss of his prized assassin.

The Count questions Talzin how she is aware of Ventress' demise.

Talzin responds that she has seen this as Ventress was once one of her Nightsisters.

Dooku acknowledged Ventress' talents and the power of Dathomirian warriors.

Talzin offered the Count a replacement to his lost female assassin with a highly skilled Nightbrother to train as a pupil.

Dooku, seeing this as an opportunity to get the new apprentice he desired, agreed to the Nightsister's offer.

Inside her lair, Talzin brought Dooku to a chamber where she began to conjure something using the power of raw spirit ichor.

Mother Talzin offered Dooku a goblet of blackroot the shaman conjured for him through use of the alchemical base of all magic.

Dooku drank the brewed potion in order to replenish himself after the journey from distant Serenno.

Talzin asks if he recalls the Sith warrior Darth Maul, to which Dooku responds that he does, but remembers that he was killed by Obi-Wan Kenobi a decade ago on Naboo.

Talzin suggests recruiting a male from a village from the other side of the planet, a warrior of Darth Maul's caliber and said that there were others of his bloodline who still lived and could be as powerful as Maul.

Dooku believes the Jedi to have perpetrated a previous attack on him and Ventress to be dead.

With Ventress "dead" and the Jedi attacks increasing, Dooku accepted Talzin's offer as securing a new personal assassin is essential.

Dooku departs Dathomir, leaving the Clan Mother to make the arrangements.

Talzin and fellow Nightsisters Karis and Talia escorted Opress aboard a transport shuttle to Dooku's homeworld of Serenno and presented him.

Dooku was impressed by the sight of Opress and how Talzin described him as the fiercest of his kind, assuring Dooku that Opress would serve him well.

Count Dooku smiles and agrees with the Clan Mother that he shall.

Once inside the palace, Dooku demands proof of Savage's abilities as a warrior.

Dooku then projects a hologram of the Temple of Eedit on the jungle planet Devaron.

Dooku tells Savage that because the temple served as a military outpost for the Republic and the Jedi Order, the base's capture would enable the Confederacy to conquer that area of the galaxy.

Dooku sends Opress to Devaron to finish the battle, destroy the Republic forces and capture the Temple.

After slaughtering the Republic forces present there almost singlehandedly, including two Jedi, Savage contacted Count Dooku.

With all droids, Jedi, and clones slaughtered, Opress reached the Temple of Eedit and reported his success to Dooku via Imagecaster who was impressed by the work of his new acolyte and had him return to Serenno at once.

Upon Opress' return to Dooku's palace, Dooku told Opress that he foresaw that he would do great things as his new apprentice.

Thoroughly satisfied, Dooku takes Opress in as his new apprentice.

Dooku promises to teach Savage in the ways of the dark side.

Dooku tells Savage that his powers will rival that of the great Sith Lord Darth Maul.

Count Dooku vows they will be even more powerful than Lord Sidious, and they will rule the galaxy together.

Dooku smiles content when Savage says he is at his disposal.

On Serenno, Dooku begins Savage Opress' training in the skills of the Sith.

Dooku tested Savage with his trademark ruthlessness, teaching the Nightbrother to unleash his true power by channeling his rage and fear.

Dooku was a harsh taskmaster who tortured Opress with his Sith lightning.

Dooku strives to stir Opress' anger and hatred in order to unlock the power of the dark side within him, torturing and agitating his disciple with demeaning criticism and Force lightning.

Savage snarlingly tells Dooku he hates him and the Sith says good.

While being electrocuted, Opress gained a crude proficiency of the Force and was able to lift the blocks a greater distance.

Although Opress questioned how one could defend against Force lightning, Dooku withheld the method of resistance to avoid making his Sith apprentice too powerful, promising to reveal such secrets in due time.

Dooku and Opress walk towards a solar sailor after his Sith lessons.

The Count tells Opress that he has completed the initial stages of his Sith training.

Dooku tells his apprentice that he is sending him on another mission to Toydaria to bring King Katuunko to him alive and kill anyone who gets in his way.

Opress obeys his Master's orders and departs Serenno.

Count Dooku awaits his apprentice in his chambers aboard a Providence-class destroyer.

Opress brought Katuunko's corpse to Dooku entering the bridge.

Dooku turns and sees Opress bring in King Katuunko's corpse.

Receiving Opress on the bridge of his destroyer, Dooku was not pleased with his performance, calling him an ignorant beast, for he had killed Katuunko in his haste to escape from the Jedi.

Dooku subjected his apprentice to a bout of Force lightning for his disobedience.

Enraged, Dooku starts angrily electrocuting Opress with Force lightning.

Opress pleads with Dooku for forgiveness, to which the Sith replies that forgiveness is not the way of the dark side.

Dooku continues to punish Savage with a volley of Sith lightning.

As Savage is hunched over in pain, Asajj Ventress appears revealing herself to be alive, to the shock of Tyranus.

Dooku tells Opress that he could make amends for his mistake.

Dooku orders Opress to kill Ventress but Asajj used magic to turn Opress against his Sith Master.

Ventress touched her finger to Opress' forehead, recalling the memory of his allegiance to her and activating the spell that ensured his loyalty to the Nightsisters, they attack the Count in concert.

A vicious duel ensued, with Dooku just barely fending off attacks from the Dathomirian warriors.

Back on the bridge, Ventress made the first move, lashing out ferociously at her former master and Dooku easily blocked her strikes and kicked her aside.

It was then that Savage lunged into the battle.

Recovering herself, Ventress stood and attacked with Savage simultaneously.

Tyranus, under attack from both his apprentices.

Opress assisting Ventress in challenging Dooku in the ensuring lightsaber duel.

Dooku tries to slash at Ventress while Savage charges.

Ventress and Dooku block each other's strikes.

Ventress repeatedly sends lightsaber bouts towards Dooku.

Count Dooku proved more than a match for both of them.

Dooku and Ventress fight through out the bridge.

Dooku was still able to block or avoid every blow before kicking Ventress to the ground again.

When Ventress was knocked aside by the Sith Lord, Opress took over, relentlessly battering away at Dooku's defenses.

Attacking alone and with much force, Savage swung wildly at the Sith Lord.

Dooku, a master of lightsaber dueling, simply evaded every swing without even parrying.

Opress won a brief advantage over Dooku by towering over him.

But, on the last downward chop, the Count was forced to block and the strength behind the blow sent him flying across the room, knocking the lightsaber from his hand.

Opress disarmed Dooku and knocked him against a wall.

Yet his victory was short-lived, as Dooku recovered in time to evade his advances and repelled him with Force lightning.

As Opress raised his blade to strike down the Sith, Dooku unleashed a blast of Force lightning.

The Nightbrother had no defense and the lightning threw him across the room.

The Sith Lord then attempted to recover his lightsaber with a Force pull.

But his former apprentice managed to pull it as well, sending it flying to another part of the bridge.

Without his lightsaber, all Dooku could do was dodge and evade as Ventress hacked and slashed at him with her blades.

Opress once again tried to strike down the Sith while he faced Ventress.

Ventress and Savage aggressively assail Dooku.

Dooku sidestepped Opress and shocked with lightning a second time.

Tyranus electrocutes Opress with Sith lightning.

As he continued to electrocute the Zabrak, Ventress swung her blades at Dooku, who ducked away.

Dooku pulled his lightsaber back into his hand with the Force.

The two continued to duel as Opress recovered.

Regaining his lightsaber, Dooku focused on dueling Ventress.

Standing up, the Nightbrother attempted to lunge at Dooku, only to be greeted by another blast of Force lightning.

Asajj attacks Dooku, commanding Savage to rejoin the fight.

Ventress, disgusted at his weakness, repeatedly ordered him to kill Dooku, but each time he made an attack, he was electrocuted.

Dooku leans back avoiding a lightsaber strike from Ventress.

Savage tries time and again to attack Dooku, but cannot repel his lightning attacks.

Dooku simultaneously counters Opress attacks with more Force lightning, preventing him from rejoining the fight.

When Opress admitted that Dooku was too strong, Ventress became even more enraged, saying that his lack of ability would not be her undoing.

Dooku responded that a failed apprentice made for an awful teacher.

Both Ventress and Dooku criticize her pawn's inability to strike at Dooku and began berating him for his weakness.

At that moment, Opress's fury surpassed his loyalty to Ventress, and he broke free of her spell of allegiance; beaten and wounded, Opress turned on both Ventress and Dooku, grabbing them in a powerful Force choke.

Opress, torn between his loyalty to Ventress and his inability to defeat Dooku, roared in fury and used the Force to choke both of them, lifting them off the ground.

Dooku and Ventress both struggled helplessly as Opress threw them both across the room, slamming them into the wall.

As the pair got to their feet, Opress lunged in and began to attack them both, striking at them.

In an ensuing three-way duel, Opress directed overpowering lightsaber strikes at his opponents, knocking them backward a second time.

Dooku slammed against the window barrier and lands on the floor.

Momentarily ceasing their duel, Dooku and Ventress retaliated with a blast of lightning and a powerful push respectively in concert to hurtle the Nightbrother against the entry door.

The truce did not last long, however, as the Count attempted to electrocute Ventress, who absorbed the bolts into her lightsaber.

Seeing his chance to escape, Dooku opened a hatch in the floor and leapt down it.

While Opress was catching his breath, Dooku fled from the bridge via an escape hatch, and Ventress pursued him without the aid of her one-time servant.

In the corridors below the bridge, Asajj pursued Dooku.

Dooku tells Ventress she is no match for him with without the aid of her monster.

Ventress retaliates that it remains to be seen and Dooku grants her request.

Ventress followed Dooku into the lower levels of the destroyer where she once again confronted her former Master.

Asajj attacks him with her lightsabers resuming their duel.

Dooku was able to deflect her assault.

The two continued their duel throughout the vessel and into the escape pod bays.

Ventress rolls away with Dooku in pursuit of her.

Dooku and Asajj exchange lightsaber strikes.

The Count shoves Asajj away with a Force push.

Dooku tries to slash at Ventress only for her to raise her blades in a block.

Dooku ended the confrontation by throwing the Nightsister into a bulkhead and disarming her with telekinetic Force.

After a few moments of strikes and parries, Dooku managed to jerk Ventress's lightsabers from her hands with the Force.

While pinning Ventress against the wall, Dooku subjected her to a blast of electricity pouring the blast into her body.

Dooku approaches a wounded Ventress telling her it's time to end this.

Standing over his wounded foe, Dooku raised his blade and stabbed downward; trying to finish the job he had failed to do once before.

Dooku moved to execute her with a swift downward strike.

But, just as the blade was about to pierce her, Ventress narrowly avoided death by using the Force to push his blade into the piping beside her instead with harsh gasses flowing out of the severed pipe and into Dooku's face, blinding him for a moment.

Ventress seized the opportunity and recovered her lightsabers before diving into an escape pod and jettisoning to safety.

Dooku attempted to stop her but the pod's path took her down towards Toydaria.

Unable to pursue the woman who had escaped him for a second time, Dooku seethed with rage.

Osi Sobeck was later contacted by Count Dooku in the Citadel.

Dooku was upset as he heard about the Jedi's success of rescuing Piell and and his men.

Sobeck carefully updated the disappointed Dooku on the state of the Jedi prisoners.

Dooku contacted the Citadel's warden, Commander Osi Sobeck about Jedi Council Member Even Piell's information on the Nexus Route.

Dooku demanded a status report and told Sobeck that he heard about "problems" with the prisoners.

Dooku asked Sobeck if this matter would require his presence.

Sobeck assured Dooku that he will recapture the prisoners and secure the navigational data of the Nexus Route.

After the Count expressed his frustration about the conflict, Sobeck assured him that everything was under control and ended transmission.

On the Citadel grounds, Warden Osi Sobeck speaks with Count Dooku via hologram.

Dooku contacted him again, angry that Sobeck had been avoiding his transmissions.

Sobeck apologizes but Dooku was growing impatient with his repeated failures.

Count Dooku once again asked if he had recaptured the prisoners.

Sobeck replied that this was not the case, but his troops would soon capture them and Dooku stated he must have the Nexus Route coordinates, for they can lead directly to Coruscant and facilitate a surprise attack on the Republic.

Dooku told Sobeck that his honesty was the only thing keeping him alive, though the Count decides to give him another chance until success or failure are a certainty.

Riff Tamson was then contacted by Count Dooku, who dispatched Trident-class assault ships and Aqua droids to bolster the Quarren forces.

Tamson tells Dooku that Nossor Ri and the Quarren were with them completely.

Dooku is pleased, and promised Tamson control of Mon Cala once the Separatists captured it.

The Count then authorized the attack by telling Tamson to proceed as planned.

Riff Tamson confers with the holographic form of Count Dooku, who demands an update on the civil war.

After the initial victory, Ri and Tamson situated themselves at the Central palace of the Mon Calamari capital where Dooku insisted they press on and take full control of the planet.

Dooku does not want Lee-Char to become a symbol of hope for the Mon Calamari people.

Dooku also ordered that all prisoners, including women and children, be processed and sent to internment camps below the city to work.

Ri spoke with concern for the captured Mon Calamari if the children could be spared the fate of a slave, but a furious Dooku silenced the Quarren leader and insisted all Mon Calamari be sent to work as slaves.

The Count revealed he was sending Tamson reinforcements that should be kept in reserve until the Republic launched a counterattack.

Back in the throne room, Tamson and Nossor Ri contacted Dooku and updated him with the situation.

With Lee-Char still at large, Dooku was still not satisfied and ordered Tamson to use any means necessary to draw him out of hiding.

When Dooku stressed the importance of finding Lee-Char and killing him, Ri inquired if all this was necessary since they had already won the battle and could start rebuilding.

Dooku scoffed at the idea and sternly reminded Ri about the bigger war going on outside the planet, a war in which Ri had pledged his allegiance to the CIS.

The Separatist leader exhibited no interest in the Quarren's opinions — he only seeks to exploit them in the larger war against the Republic.

Dooku asks Tamson if his soldiers had arrived, Riff states his squad of several Karkarodon enforcers had arrived on Mon Cala to aid in holding the planet.

Nossor Ri's sinking feeling that he has forged a terrible alliance grew as he sees that Tamson brought his own forces of the same species to the planet.

Pleased, Dooku ordered Tamson to continue their plan before cutting the transmission.

In his private offices, Minister Rish Loo contacts Count Dooku and reports his progress of creating turmoil on Naboo.

Loo is in fact secretly in league with Dooku, who has promised him the freedom of his people in exchange for aiding the Separatists in invading Naboo.

Loo is paving the way for a Separatist invasion of the planet, in return for a place in of power in Dooku's new order.

Dooku tells Rish that he will be most influencial before cutting off the transmission.

When Darth Sidious got news of General Grievous's capture, he contacted Tyranus in Rish Loo's secret lab on Naboo.

Sidious tells Tyranus that Grievous was still needed in their plans for the Clone Wars and asks what is to be done.

Sidious tells Dooku to lure Skywalker into a trap, capture the Jedi, and exchange him for Grievous.

At first, Tyranus doubted that the Republic would trade Grievous for Skywalker, but Sidious was confident that Senator Padmé Amidala would do so nonetheless and Dooku complies with his Master's orders before ending the transmission.

Dooku then contacted Rish Loo who was eluding the pursuing Skywalker on a speeder bike.

Dooku ordered Loo to leave a trail for Skywalker to follow leading him into a trap.

Loo eventually arrived at his secret lair to meet with Count Dooku followed by Anakin.

Dooku stands and greets Anakin as he enters the Naboo lair.

When Rish Loo approached Dooku and began to speak of their ongoing plans, Dooku denounced Loo as a "fool".

Finished with the traitorous Gungan minister, Dooku kills Rish Loo by abruptly stabbing him with his lightsaber.

Rish Loo's corpse falls to the chambers floor at Dooku's feet.

Anakin asked why Dooku would bring the war to Naboo.

Dooku told him that the war was started there by the Sith.

The Count circles around with lanterns flying around the chamber after revealing the Sith's hand in the first invasion of Naboo more than ten years ago.

Dooku and Anakin then briefly had a heated discussion regarding the invasion, in which Dooku revealed that the Sith were not only behind the current invasion, but had orchestrated the first invasion as well because the Sith control everything.

Dooku ignites his Sith lightsaber and begins the duel.

Skywalker fights Dooku in a fierce lightsaber duel.

Skywalker duels the Count, who blocks a strike from him.

While the MagnaGuards battle Skywalker, Dooku walks into another room.

The MagnaGuard's electrostaffs surround and protect Dooku.

Dooku dodges Anakin's swinging lightsaber strikes.

Count Dooku ignites his blade and clashes against Skywalker's.

The MagnaGuards joined the fray, and gave Dooku the upper hand when he managed to disarm Skywalker.

Skywalker became incapacitated by several electric shocks and attacks from the MagnaGuard's electrostaffs.

The Magnaguards then pinned Skywalker to the ground, but calling upon his anger, he knocked them away with a Force Repulse.

Skywalker used a Force Wave to knock back the Magnaguards, surprising Dooku.

Dooku then pinned Anakin against the wall with the Force.

Count Dooku assaulted Skywalker with a Force choke.

Dooku blasts Skywalker with Sith lightning while still be held with the Force.

Dooku ultimately subdued Skywalker and brings down his unconsciousness body.

After the duel, Count Dooku pants in exhaustion due to his old age.

Shortly following the captures of Grievous and Skywalker, Padmé Amidala was attempting to contact Anakin from Otoh Gunga, when Dooku appeared on her holoprojector.

Dooku, using Skywalker's communicator, contacted Senator Amidala.

Inquiring as to what he wanted, Dooku informed Amidala that he had captured Skywalker who was held in a containment field.

Padmé, shocked and upset at the capture of her husband, was conflicted between her duties to the Republic and her feelings for Anakin.

Dooku then stated that he would be willing to exchange Skywalker for Grievous in a prisoner transfer.

When Senator Amidala refused the offer, Dooku commanded his droids to torture Skywalker through the use of several electric shocks.

Padmé cannot make the decision easily as Grievous was a valuable prisoner but could not abandoned Anakin causing Dooku to grin.

Torn between her feelings for Anakin and her commitment to the welfare of the Republic, Dooku gave her an hour to come to a decision.

Count Dooku and his Separatist forces arrive on Kiros to pressure Governor Roshti and his colony of Togruta into siding with the Confederacy.

When Dooku arrived with an invasion fleet of battle droids, Roshti again stated his wish for his people to remain neutral in the conflict.

Dooku ignored the Governor, and offers his "protection", leaving little room for negotiation.

Dooku grabs Roshti's shoulder insisting on giving the Togruta people sanctuary.

Darts D'Nar then spoke with Count Dooku and Zygerrian Prime Minister Atai Molec about the last slave shipment.

When Kenobi entered the main room of D'Nar's headquarters, he saw the commander talking to Dooku and the Zygerrian Atai Molec via a holoprojector, assuring them that the situation on the planet was under his control.

As Kenobi entered the room, he was taken under guard by two commando droids, Dooku introduced him and Molec growled.

Dooku then ordered D'Nar to bring Kenobi to him on his knees before ending the transmission.

Count Dooku arrives at Zygerria to negotiate the acquisition of millions of slaves for the Sith cause that his master had stated.

Dooku assures Sidious that the Queen's defiance won't sent back his plans and the Sith Lord orders him to gain her cooperation — or end her rule if she fails to comply.

Dooku enters the Royal Palace of Zygerria.

Queen Scintel then welcomed Dooku, despite having not asked him to come though Dooku then told her that Molec was the one who had asked him to come.

Dooku tells Miraj that she forgets that he was once a Jedi.

A slave offers Dooku and the Queen refreshments.

Scintel then told him of her plans to break and enslave the Jedi.

The Count sips his wine as he listens to the Queen's plans.

Miraj explains that she intends to break the will of the Jedi, starting with Obi-Wan Kenobi, through the hardship and cruelty at Kadavo.

Dooku finds her plans ambitious, but he has no interest in enslaving the Jedi.

Dooku told Scintel that he ultimately planned to exterminate the Jedi, not enslave them and ordered her to summon Skywalker so he could personally execute him.

Count Dooku warned her that her power over Skywalker was an illusion and once again ordered her to kill Skywalker.

Miraj Scintel defiantly refuses Dooku's orders.

Dooku then states that perhaps her Prime Minister would carry out the deed.

Molec saw his queen as unworthy to rule and decided to side with Dooku, Scintel then pulled out her electro-whip.

Dooku easily throttles her through the Force before she can bring her weapon to bear.

The Queen was strangled by Dooku by way of the Force.

Dooku holds Queen Miraj in a Force choke levitating her body off the ground.

When Anakin barges into the royal chamber, Dooku releases his hold on the gasping queen.

Dooku tells Skywalker if he takes one more step he'll kill Scintel.

Count Dooku activates his lightsaber challenging Skywalker.

Dooku lights his blade in the throne room.

Darth Tyranus slowly increases the intensity of the lightning.

The guards then stormed into the room asking about the Queen, with Dooku still torturing Anakin.

As concerned palace guards ran into the chamber, Dooku claims that Skywalker had killed the queen.

The guards, believing that Skywalker had murdered their queen, tried to kill him on the orders of Dooku.

Finding himself outnumbered and outgunned without his lightsaber, Anakin picks up the dying queen and flees from the palace with Dooku trying to stop him but managed to escape.

In the control room of the Kadavo facility, Obi-wan and Rex are brought before Keeper Agruss and a hologram of Dooku.

Dooku summoned both Kenobi and Rex to the facility's command center and told the two about his intention to dispose of them.

Dooku then gave orders to Agruss that Rex and Kenobi be killed.

Count Dooku converses with the Jedi through a holo comlink, announcing their impending execution.

Agruss, under the order of Count Dooku, prepared to execute Obi-Wan and Rex, but the men of the Republic overpowered the guards while Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano led an assault by clone forces to liberate the slaves.

Dooku senses through the Force that Skywalker is leading the attack to free the slaves.

Keeper Agruss and Dooku, through holoconnection, monitor the battle.

Dooku gives Obi-Wan a grim ultimatum; if Skywalker does not surrender, all the slaves will be killed.

A guard informs Agruss and Dooku that Jedi reinforcements have arrived out of hyperspace.

In the confusion of the attack, Kenobi and Rex broke free of their restraints and began disabling their guards while Dooku looked on.

Lux Bonteri is taken to the vessel which brought the Separatist delegation to Mandalore and before the holographic projection of Count Dooku.

Dooku is hardly impressed with Lux's bravery.

Bonteri confronts Dooku, accusing Dooku for the murder of his mother.

Count Dooku, unaware of Bonteri's holotrace device, denied his involvement in Mina Bonteri's death.

Dooku tells the commando droids that he thinks they should reunite Lux with his mother.

Dooku then coldly ordered the commando droids to execute Bonteri for treason.

The hologram of Dooku warns Moralo that time is running short and Eval concurs before ending the transmission.

Count Dooku escorted by MagnaGuards sees the battered yacht arrive on Serenno.

The trio consisting of the disguised Obi-Wan, Moralo Eval, and Cad Bane arrives at Castle Serenno, where the Count himself welcomes them, although the latter chastises Eval for his delay.

The Separatist leader welcomes the trio to the next stage of the conspiracy and invites Bane and Hardeen to participate, promising a worthy reward for success.

Dooku asks Eval to ready the contestants for the tournament.

Dooku with Eval and a squad of droid guards welcome the bounty hunters to Serenno.

With Hardeen and Bane's participation, Count Dooku has a dozen bounty hunters for his challenge to determine which ones are the best.

Dooku then showed them "The Box," a floating cubelike station that served as the tournament arena.

The Count explained that five most skilled among the survivors would participate in a job that would pay very well.

Unarmed, all of them are to face a life-and-death challenge in the Box and only the first five survivors will be chosen for the task Dooku has in store for them, in return for a handsome reward.

Dooku states the surviving recruits will carry out an important assignment that will bring the Republic to its pitiful knees.

While watching the bounty hunters performance, Dooku asked Eval about Rako Hardeen while both where watching the tournament from the control room of the Box.

Eval then explained that Hardeen recently killed Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi with a sniper rifle which apparently interested Dooku.

Dooku notices that "Hardeen" is carrying everyone and tells Eval to watch him closely.

Dooku tells Moralo that he is beginning to think Hardeen may be the best one to lead the operation.

While Dooku's interest in Rako Hardeen grows, he becomes more and more disappointed in Moralo Eval.

The Count tells Eval that he will perhaps put Hardeen in charge, with Moralo stating Dooku promised him the lead role.

The Sith Lord gives the criminal mastermind one last chance to change his mind.

Moralo Eval leaves the control room while Dooku remains behind.

Eval attempted to drop Hardeen to the flames but he was saved by Bane, who told Eval if he wanted to kill Hardeen he should do it like a man and Dooku agreed with this.

Count Dooku's patience with Eval has come to an end and dropped him in the room to fight Hardeen face to face.

Dooku observes as Eval attempted to fight unfairly, calling in probe droids and bringing up a maze in the floor and attempting to burn Hardeen.

Dooku's hologram is projected into the wall as he watches Hardeen battle Eval.

Nevertheless, Hardeen defeated Eval eventually, and Dooku ordered Hardeen to finish Eval off, but being Kenobi in disguise and a Jedi, refused to kill Eval to Dooku's disappointment.

Dooku, however, congratulated the remaining bounty hunters for surviving the Box and announced that the job was in fact to kidnap Chancellor Palpatine during the Festival of Light on Naboo.

Dooku assigns Cad Bane in charge of the operation, as he had planned.

Dooku and the bounty hunter team infiltrate a warehouse in Theed, eliminating the hapless workers.

Now in private, Count Dooku lays out the kidnapping plans.

Dooku, Moralo Eval, Cad Bane and his team, consisting of Obi-Wan, Embo, Derrown and Twazzi, claim possession of a small hangar in Theed by murdering the mechanics inside.

Dooku and the bounty hunters plan their attack.

But as the group leave for their posts, Dooku takes Bane aside for a moment and advises him to keep a special lookout for Hardeen.

As the team departed, Dooku alerted Bane to "Hardeen", tasking him to keep a close on "Hardeen" as he suspected something wrong about him.

That night, with the Republic security forces having been sent back to Coruscant, Palpatine and Anakin instead of a banquet however, they instead came face to face with Count Dooku himself.

The conversation halts as they enter the banquet hall -- with Dooku waiting for them and welcomes the pair.

Anakin yells that Dooku made a mistake.

Dooku revealed that he had never intended for the other bounty hunters to kidnap Palpatine; he had simply been using them as a diversion so he could launch his own kidnapping plot.

With only Anakin left to protect Palpatine, Dooku asserted that he could easily kidnap the Chancellor and activated his lightsaber.

Anakin quickly cut down the two Magnaguards in the room and rushed forward to duel with Dooku, ordering Palpatine to flee.

Now, guarded by a lone Jedi, the Chancellor is vulnerable and Dooku ignites his blade and moves toward Anakin.

However, the Chancellor was intercepted by a third MagnaGuard as Anakin viciously attacked Dooku and rapidly drove him back.

Skywalker and Count Dooku rematch on Naboo.

Overwhelmed by Anakin's strength, Dooku attempted to use the Force to stave the Jedi off.

The Count telekinetically blasted him back a short distance.

Dooku used the Force to throw chairs and cutlery at Anakin, who easily batted them aside.

Before using the Force to fling various bits of cutlery and a chair at his infuriated opponent.

Dooku continues throwing items at Skywalker using the Force.

The Count tosses another chair at Anakin further infuriating him.

Dooku levitates the silverware and cutlery from the table.

Count Dooku raises the dishes into the air.

Dooku flings the cutlery and silverware towards the Jedi.

The small barrage of items did nothing but enrage Anakin further, and he attacked Dooku with renewed fury.

Dooku managed to intercept a thrust from Anakin by telekinetically moving a chair in front of him.

The Count could not hold his ground against Anakin's assault.

Anakin pushed forward against the chair that had intercepted his attack, nearly driving his lightsaber through Dooku's skull.

Before the Sith Lord managed to hit Anakin with another telekinetic blast.

However the attack had virtually no effect on Anakin, and he quickly re-engaged the now visibly shaken Count.

Dooku and Skywalker resume their duel in the banquet hall.

Skywalker and Dooku cross blades.

Dooku smirks while being crossed in a blade-lock.

The fight moves into the hallway with the Chancellor being dragged by a MagnaGuard.

Both watch as Anakin and Dooku duel across the halls.

Count Dooku tries to slash Skywalker but he dodges the blow.

The duelists began to ascend a flight of stairs.

Anakin kicked Dooku in the abdomen, knocking him to the ground.

Before the Count could regain his feet, Anakin fell upon him with a series of overhand power blows, pressing him into the stairs.

Anakin reached out to snag Dooku's throat with his mechanical hand.

Holding off Dooku's lightsaber with his own, he began to throttle Dooku.

However, Dooku managed to escape the choakhold by shocking Anakin with Force lightning.

Dooku telekinetically blasted Skywalker backwards.

Although Anakin holds Dooku down for a few seconds, Dooku manages to overpower him with Force lightning and a telekinetic shove.

With Anakin momentarily stunned, Dooku and the MagnaGuard that held Palpatine retreated.

The two Jedi caught up with Dooku just as he boarded his ship with Palpatine.

Dooku blocks a back-strike from Anakin who rushes him.

Obi-Wan, however, catches up to Anakin and together they manage to thwart Dooku's plan once again.

Dooku duels Skwalker while Obi-Wan destroys the lone MagnaGuard, rescuing Palpatine.

As Anakin re-engaged Dooku, Kenobi quickly dealt with the remaining MagnaGuard before retrieving Palpatine.

Obi-Wan resuces the Chancellor, jumping off the shuttle while Skywalker dueled Dooku.

Count Dooku brings the duel with Skywalker to an end.

Dooku proceeded to push Anakin back onto the landing platform and faced the two Jedi.

Thwarted, Dooku pushed Anakin off the boarding ramp of his ship and fled, but not before remarking that Kenobi had proven himself a "worthy adversary".

Dooku congratulated Obi-Wan on his victory, but threw one last insult at Skywalker before the shuttle flew off.

Count Dooku is forced to leave empty-handed in a shuttle that hastily departs Theed.

In his lair on Serenno, Dooku summons General Grievous.

Dooku has neither forgotten about nor taken the attempt on his life lightly, and tells Grievous the time to exact revenge against Ventress and Talzin had come.

Having harbored a grudge against Ventress and Talzin since their attempt on his life, Dooku monitored his former apprentice's movements and learned of her return to Dathomir.

Dooku orders the cyborg warmaster to lead a massive assault on Dathomir and exterminate the Nightsister witches before they continued to plot against him.

Heeding Dooku's orders, Grievous immediately acknowledges his master's commands.

Count Dooku remains in the palace while Grievous marshaled a massive detachment of the Separatist Droid Army.

Mother Talzin uses a lock of Dooku's hair she had previously taken and stashed away in secret; using it to create a magical voodoo figurine likeness of Dooku.

Talzin begins to subject the tiny effigy of Dooku to her curses.

Count Dooku was holographically monitoring the battle from his palace on Serenno.

Far away on Serenno, Dooku begins to feel the pain of the curse.

Blisters begin to sprout on the Count's forehead.

Talzin began her voodoo attack simply by holding the doll over a boiling cauldron.

As Dooku overlooked the battle in his palace on Serenno, he then felt great pain.

Blisters and painful burns appeared on Dooku's face as he realized that Talzin was using her Magic on him.

However, Talzin quickly escalated by dropping the entire figurine into the boiling fluid.

The curse induced extreme pain for the Count.

Talzin's dark arts are scarring his face and overloading him with pain.

Dooku writhes in pain as Talzin uses the doll in more of her voodoo magic.

Count Dooku lays on the floor in pain.

The Nightsister used it in conjunction with her magic to torture Dooku to the point of near-death.

Dooku was unable to defend himself from Talzin's magic and slouches to his console.

Desperately writhing in pain, Dooku contacts General Grievous with new orders.

Through tortured gasps, Dooku orders Grievous to find Mother Talzin and destroy her before she had a chance to kill him.

Dooku advised Grievous to follow the green mist, which was the witch's magic.

Whilst cutting down the attacking zombies, Grievous acknowledges his new orders before ending the transmission with Dooku.

Count Dooku writhes on the floor of his palace in pain.

Dooku screams painfully when his chest suddenly erupts.

Talzin used her magicks to reach out and appear to him as a specter breaking out of his torso.

She insisted that he call off his troops or face a painful death, but the Sith Lord remained defiant in the face of the Nightsister's magick.

Talzin's specter retreats back into Dooku's chest causing him to yell in pain.

The Count lays on his bed as the curse continues to take affect.

Mother Talzin proceeded to stick a voodoo pin in Dooku's doll.

Dooku feeling the voodoo attack coming.

Talzin plunged a voodoo pin into the forehead of the doll.

Dooku clutches his head and smacks his face trying to ward off the pain.

Nevertheless, Grievous knocked over the cauldron that had been maintaining her voodoo magic, subsequently ending Dooku's torture.

Dooku, free from her spell, vomits Nightsister magick.

Count Dooku sighs with relief after the torture ended and his life saved.

Following the Nightsister massacre, Dooku spoke with Grievous about Savage Opress.

Dooku informs General Grievous of Opress' growing power, which he could sense from afar.

Dooku feared that with the Nightsisters dead, Savage would be a danger to him and his master whose powers he felt were growing.

Dooku also sensed something else was rising, something sinister.

King Sanjay Rash watches the darkened city of Iziz, lit only by the burning wreckage of the power station and he contacts Count Dooku desperate for assistance.

King Rash tells Dooku that he saw that the rebels had grown bold with the attack on the power generator, and believed that his predecessor was behind the rebels' activities.

Dooku questions King Rash how his forces cannot keep the terrorists in line.

Dooku tells Rash he thought he could trust him to rule Onderon and find this report most disappointing.

In response to these attacks, Rash asked Dooku for reinforcements, though disappointed the Sith Lord agrees to grant the king's request for reinforcements.

Dooku dispatched Super tactical droid general, Kalani to take command of the Separatist forces on Onderon.

At some point after this final skirmish, Dooku contacted Rash and Kalani with Rash quickly explaining what had happened and that they would need even more help to defeat the rebels.

Dooku coldly refused, not wanting another war to deal with — Onderon simply isn't worth it.

Following the rebels victory over the droid gunships, Dooku ordered Kalani to withdraw what remained of the occupation force from the planet to Agamar, much to Rash's disapproval.

Dooku - via holo transmission - watched as Kalani unceremoniously raised a blaster and executed the king as he sat on his throne for his repeated failures.

Count Dooku on Serenno walking towards his desk with MagnaGuards protect the area.

Sidious materializes in the Serenno palace as a hologram and Dooku bows before him.

Dooku bows as Darth Sidious devises a plan placing Clovis in command of the Banking Clan.

Dooku questions his master on how to accomplish this and Sidious intends to entrap him to do their bidding once elevated.

Dooku marvels at the idea smiling and obeys the Sith Lord's commands.

The Count stays kneeled as Sidious ends the holographic communication.

In Padmé's bedroom, where Clovis recovers, the 2-1B surgical droid suddenly reveals itself a servant of Count Dooku and produces a holographic projector with the Count's hologram appearing.

An imposing image of Dooku appears speaking of a mutual problem they both have.

Clovis tells Dooku that he is closing in on uncovering illegal collusion between the Banking Clan and the Confederacy leadership.

Dooku asks why the Confederacy would support corruption.

Clovis tells Dooku that the banks had allowed him to borrow credits and not pay any interests and the Count states that is correct.

Dooku tells Clovis that the released information will bring war to Scipio and the banks will fall so he offers to make some arrangement between himself and Rush.

Count Dooku instead offers to make Clovis the head of the banks as it needs new management.

Dooku tells Clovis that these are delicate matters as the Confederacy need funds just as the Republic does to pay for this war.

Dooku offered to pay the Confederacy's interest on their loans as well as supply Clovis details of the Muuns' secret accounts.

Dooku knows the location of the misappropriated funds, and can make them available to Clovis to help make his claim to the Senate before cutting off the holo-communication.

As Clovis settles into his new office atop the spire at the very crest of the Main Vault fortress and enjoys a majestic view of the Scipio mountains, he is startled by the sudden holographic appearance of Count Dooku.

Sitting in his office, Clovis is contacted by Dooku, who congratulates him on his appointment.

After Clovis took his position on Scipio, Dooku contacted him to congratulate on his appointment.

Clovis thanks him for his assistance, but Dooku announces he wishes to collect the return on his "investment".

Clovis refuses, saying he and the bank must remain neutral but Dooku begs to differ.

Dooku threatens to reveal his role in Clovis' investigation, but he remains adamant.

Count Dooku demands recompense, but sees how stalwart Rush Clovis is being.

Finally Dooku tells Clovis that the Separatists will not pay the interest on their loans as promised.

Clovis protests, saying the banks will collapse without the payments, but Dooku tells him he must raise interest rates on the Republic's loans to keep the bank afloat.

Dooku tells Clovis he will raise interest and threatens that everything Rush had fought so hard for will be destroyed.

Dooku then accompanied the Confederate fleet and from the bridge of the command dreadnought, Count Dooku orders super tactical droid Kraken to begin the attack.

Dooku commandeered a fleet from the Confederate Navy and launched an invasion on Scipio as a ruse to make to make Clovis appear to be in alliance with the Separatists.

With the clone garrison defeated, Dooku arrived on the planet.

With the landing platform secured, Count Dooku's solar sailor lands and emerges.

The Count walks through a line of battle droids guarding the area.

Dooku walks with purpose toward the Main Vault.

Commando droids drag Padmé before Rush Clovis in his office with Dooku waiting.

Padmé is brought to Clovis's office, where Dooku tells her that Clovis had assured him she would join their cause.

When Padmé refuses to join the Confederacy, Dooku orders her to be arrested.

Padmé grabs a battle droid's blaster, and attempts to point it at Dooku, but he pushes the weapon with the Force.

The Sith Lord called upon the Force, using it to telekinetically aim Amidala's blaster at Bec Lawise who could only utter a few words of shock before Dooku forced Padmé to pull the trigger, killing Lawise.

Dooku smiles at this turn of events while Padmé and Clovis mourn Lawise.

Dooku declares the Confederacy in control of the banks that their debts are gone and any credit to the Republic is now gone.

Senator Amidala is saddened that Clovis' idealism was just a front with Rush insisting he had no choice and Dooku, before leaving, says everyone has their price.

Dooku leaves the Main Vault and makes his way to his ship.

Count Dooku exits the rotunda of the Main Vault when he is contacted by his Master.

Darth Sidious informs Dooku of the Republic attack coming to Scipio.

Darth Tyranus informs Sidious that Clovis had finally played his part and appeared to have coordinated the entire takeover.

Lord Sidious states because of the treachery, the banks would be placed under the control of the Supreme Chancellor before ending the holocommunication.

After ending the transmission, Dooku boards his solar sailor before kicking a dead clone's helmet away and leaves Scipio.

Dooku arrives aboard Kraken's Separatist dreadnought.

Count Dooku, who had returned from his mission on Scipio, ordered Kraken to withdraw their forces but Kraken protested, saying that hundreds of droid forces had been left on the planet.

As the battle raged on in space, it soon became apparent that the Separatist fleet was outmatched and Dooku, having accomplished his objectives in framing Clovis for the Separatist invasion, dismissed Kraken's concerns and commanded that the fleet withdraw from the system with the tactical droid obeying.

The Head of State thereafter withdrew his naval forces from Scipio just as a Republic fleet arrived to mount a planetary invasion.

Still having a score to settle with Hondo Ohnaka for holding him captive in the past, Dooku dispatched General Grievous to Florrum where the general opens a holo-communication channel through which Count Dooku contacts Ohnaka.

A towering hologram of Dooku greets Hondo coldly, recalling their past together and the time Dooku was held hostage by the pirate.

In retaliation for his imprisonment during their first encounter, the Separatist leader had come to take over Florrum due to Ohanaka's treachery.

Via transmission, Dooku spoke directly to Ohnaka and said that the invasion was in retaliation for Ohnaka holding him for ransom some time before.

The Count declared that all of Hondo's property now belongs to the Separatist Alliance and plans to dismantle and melt Ohnaka's arsenal.

Despite his protests, Hondo was incarcerated by Grievous on the command of Dooku.

When a clone trooper killed a Jedi on Ringo Vinda, Admiral Trench noticed the odd behavior and reported the action to Count Dooku.

Dooku contacted by Trench via hologram and informs him of the deadly betrayal perpetrated by a clone trooper in the thick of battle.

Dooku received word from Admiral Trench of a malfunctioning clone trooper that killed their Jedi General during the battle at Ringo Vinda.

At first Dooku believed the action to be a simple betrayal by the clone.

The Count attempts to dismiss it as a traitor in the Republic's fold, but Trench insists it is something beyond that as the trooper seemed to be in a trance-like state.

Dooku becomes alarmed and thanks the Admiral before ending the holocommunication.

Knowing that this was a serious problem, he immediately reported the event to his master Darth Sidious.

Dooku reports to his master his concerns of a malfunctioning clone.

Sidious asks Tyranus if he believes this is evidence of their secret programing and Dooku confirms he does.

Darth Sidious concludes that Tup's behavior might prematurely reveal their true plans for the war.

Sidious orders Tyranus to seize the clone for examination, lest their carefully laid plans be exposed too early.

The two Sith decide to kidnap the clone before the Republic can examine him.

After Trench had Kraken kidnap the clone, the Admiral contacted Dooku.

In the Separatist command center, Admiral Trench reports to Count Dooku that they have captured Tup.

The Count orders the clone brought to him immediately, alive and intact.

After successfully kidnapping of the clone trooper "Tup," the Count applauded the Harch's success, Trench then tasked Kraken to personally escort the captured Clone to Dooku himself.

Under his identity of "Tyranus", Dooku was contacted by Kaminoan Prime Minister Lama Su and Chief Scientist Nala Se in a private chamber.

They informed Lord Tyranus of the clone trooper's malfunctioning inhibitor chip.

Nala Se insists that they terminate the clone and Tyranus agrees and orders the clone be terminated, however the inhibitor chip is to be sent to him immediately for analysis.

Lord Tyranus explains that the inhibitor chips must be kept secret from the Jedi — it was devised as a means of countering rogue Jedi and the only other person to know of this genetic modification is the late Master Sifo-Dyas, and this secret has gone to the grave with him.

Tyranus was later contacted again by Nala Se, and she informs the mysterious man that a renegade clone, ARC trooper CT-5555, has stolen the inhibitor chip sample.

Nala Se contacts Darth Tyranus, telling him that the renegade clone has stolen the inhibitor chip, but that he knows nothing about its purpose or function.

Tyranus is disturbed by these events, and questions whether the clone army will live up to the Kaminoans' design.

Tyranus is deeply concerned regarding this aberrant behavior among the clones but Nala Se assures him that Tup's malfunction was an aberration, and that Fives' subsequent divergent behavior is due to the Jedi instilling "creative thinking" in their troops.

The ARC trooper's interference caused Tyranus to doubt the clone army's reliability in the event of an intentional activation of Protocol 66, although Nala Se assured him that the preemptive execution was an anomaly as there is no compromise.

Tyranus orders Nala Se to find Fives immediately and warns her that the true purpose of the chip must not be discovered by the Jedi.

Following the death of the ARC trooper, Tyranus acknowledges that he has received the bio-chips from Nala Se and ends the communication and removes his hood.

Darth Tyranus holds the inhibitor chips in his hand and smiles triumphantly.

Tyranus kneels and contacts Darth Sidious with successful news.

Tyranus assures Lord Sidious that the Sith plot has gone undiscovered.

Sidious tells his apprentice Tyranus to destroy all evidence and that soon no one will be able to stop their plan to execute Order 66.

Darth Sidious cackles with delight while Lord Tyranus kneels before his successful master.

At Dooku's estate on Serenno, the towering holographic form of Darth Sidious questions Lord Tyranus.

Sidious asks his apprentice of Sifo-Dyas.

Sidious seems furious at Tyranus, demanding to know why the Jedi are sniffing around.

Dooku tells his master that if there is a trail it is unknown to him.

Tyranus was then informed by Sidious that the Jedi had learned of a secret that Dooku failed to hide.

Sidious makes sure Tyranus understands the price of failure with a choke.

Darth Sidious briefly telekinetically chokes his apprentice with the Force.

Sidious shows Dooku the price of failure by throttling him with a Force choke.

Count Dooku coughs violently after Sidious ends the holographic transmission and released the Force choke.

Darth Tyranus arrives at the Pyke stronghold on Oba Diah, landing his solar sailor on the landing platform.

Tyranus Force hurls the Pyke guards that try to block his path.

Tyranus arrived on Oba Diah with the intention of keeping the Jedi from discovering the truth behind Sifo-Dyas' demise.

Tyranus cut through several guards choking them with the Force.

Despite his mental state, Silman managed to tell Kenobi and Skywalker that someone wanted to impersonate Master Sifo-Dyas and had ordered the Pykes to kill them and before he can reveal anymore, he is strangled to death by the dark side of the Force, Tyranus has tied up the loose end.

Anakin and Obi-Wan turn to confront Dooku, who ignites his lightsaber.

The Jedi light their blades and engage Dooku in a duel.

During the duel, the Jedi learned that Dooku was in fact Sith Lord called Darth Tyranus, who selected Jango Fett as the clone template, and that the Sith were involved in the creation of the clone army.

Tyranus then revealed that he was telling Kenobi the truth on Geonosis about the Sith Lord.

Lom sided with the Jedi and ordered his men to kill Dooku who Force pushed them away.

Skywalker and Kenobi tried a Force push against Dooku, but the latter jumped, causing it to knock Lom and his men over.

During Yoda's journey to acquire immortality, he experienced an apparition, where the Clone Wars never occurred, and everyone Yoda knows is still part of the Jedi Order, including those who lost their lives and those who left/betrayed the Order due to circumstances connected to the war.

In the Temple courtyard, it is a beautiful day and many Jedi, young and old, gather and Yoda joins the Jedi seeing Obi-Wan in conversation with Qui-Gon and Master Dooku.

Dooku tells his friends about the tale of the terentatek encounter he and Yoda faced on Kashyyyk.

Dooku is friendly and recounting stories of his apprenticeship to Yoda before the gathering begins.

Dooku invites Yoda to join him and others near the tree.

Yoda soon realizes that this is an illusion, since Jedi like Adi Gallia, Tiplar, and Qui-Gon Jinn are dead.

Yoda recognizes the illusion and calls Dooku a traitor knowing he has become a Sith Lord.

Dooku darkens and his eyes glare red.

Yoda, realizing that this is another vision, denies Dooku's request to join them.

A shadow falls on the courtyard as the vision starts to disappear, returning Yoda to the Valley of Extinction.

Dooku turns into a savage Sith Lord.

When Dooku attacks Yoda, the entire vision disappears once more.

Dooku ignites his lightsaber and lunges but Yoda offers no defense, knowing what he sees to be false.

Elsewhere, in his command ship, Count Dooku awakens from his meditation sensing that something is wrong.

Super Tactical droid Kraken informed Dooku that Darth Sidious was ordering him back to Coruscant right away.

In a burned out, industrial sector of Coruscant, Count Dooku's solar sailor sets down in a secret hangar.

Dooku met his Master in an abandoned tower in the industrial sector of Coruscant.

Dooku is greeted by Darth Sidious after entering the tower.

Sidious tells Tyranus that he senses a great opportunity to strike a deadly blow against the Jedi Order.

Inside the LiMerge building with Sith statues lining the room, Sidious and Tyranus enter.

Sidious leads Dooku to a sacrifical altar basin.

Darth Sidious tells Tyranus that only the presence of someone significant to his apprentice would allow him to feel this ripple through time and space.

Both Tyranus and Lord Sidious felt that Yoda was on the Sith homeworld of Moraband for some unknown reason.

Sidious informed his apprentice that they would be exploiting Dooku's Force-bond with Yoda, which the two had established during their time together in the Jedi Order, to find out why Yoda had ventured to Moraband and to break his will.

Over a sacrificial altar basin, Sidious cut Dooku with a knife to draw his blood, dripping it into the water-filled basin.

Dooku then allowed Sidious to use his blood to create an illusion for Yoda due to him being his former master.

Tyranus watches as Lord Sidious recites an ancient Sith ritual in Balc.

Tyranus joins his Master and fires Sith lightning into the basin.

Darth Sidious and Darth Tyranus summoning the power of dark illusion to attack Yoda.

Sidious tells Dooku to concentrate on Master Yoda bringing all his focus to him.

When Dooku expressed concern over Yoda sensing their presence, Sidious said he would come to Yoda with someone familiar as he dipped his face into the sacrificial altar.

In an enhanced illusion, the Jedi and clones arrive at the LiMerge Building, and encounter Dooku and Darth Sidious.

Clone Captain Rex leads the charge, spotting the two Sith Lords huddled over the altar basin.

Dooku sees the approaching Jedi and clone troopers.

Tyranus activates his lightsaber and stands in front of his Master.

When the Jedi and clones arrive at their destination, they encounter Dooku and Darth Sidious.

Dooku electrifies the approaching clones with Sith lightning.

As they arrived, the clones, lead by Captain Rex, rushed at Dooku only to be hit with Sith lightning.

Anakin engages Dooku in a duel, while Yoda confronts the hooded form of Darth Sidious.

Skywalker immediately attacked Dooku while Sidious fled.

Dooku and Skywalker cross blades in the ceremonial chamber.

Anakin engages Dooku in a lightsaber duel.

Skywalker manages to slice Dooku's knee with his lightsaber.

Anakin wounds Dooku, forcing him to his knees.

Skywalker recovers Dooku's dropped lightsaber and uses his lightsaber to scissor his neck.

Walking sadly past the fallen clones, a dismayed Yoda witnessed Skywalker brutally decapitate Dooku using both blue and red blades.

After the illusion ceased, Sidious arose from the altar basin and informed Dooku that they had failed to break Yoda's will.

Both Sith Lords depart the ceremonial chamber learning that they need more time if they are to succeed in completely wiping out the Jedi.

Star Wars: Clone Wars

Count Dooku makes a deal with the Quarren Isolation League.

On Rattatak, Count Dooku met and was greeted by a robed individual called the Henchman.

Dooku tells the Henchman what he is looking for.

The Henchman then accompanied Dooku through to a viewing box above the Cauldron arena.

Dooku enters the Cauldron viewing box and is given a seat of honor.

The Henchman tells Dooku he trusts he'll find what he seeks.

Dooku and his guide watch as the gladiatorial battles rage below.

As soon as Dooku sits down, the guide seated beside him and began to observe the battles below.

The guide was silently slain and replaced by a cloaked figure.

Without turning, Dooku praises the stealthiness of the substitution, claiming his guide would be impressed if he had not just been killed, but told her he wasn't looking for a spy.

Ventress then jumped down into the arena, slaughtering the other gladiators under Dooku's watchful gaze.

After Ventress eliminates the gladiators, Dooku stands, applauding and complimenting her.

When she had finished, Dooku applauded her.

Count Dooku tells her she was more powerful than he had sensed.

Ventress claimed in turn to be a Sith, but Dooku laughed at her.

Dooku uses the Force to leap onto the arena below.

Count Dooku tells Ventress that she fights and wears the trappings of the Sith but it can be imitated.

Angered, Ventress activates both her lightsabers and claimed that Dooku knew nothing of the dark side before charging him.

Dooku decided to "enlighten" her with a blast of Force lightning.

Ventress is rendered unconscious by Dooku's lightning.

Ventress awakens in her large, elaborately-furnished penthouse, and as soon as she takes them up, Dooku suddenly appears and instantly attacks.

Dooku tries to strike Ventress but misses when she jumps in the air.

Both combatants engaged in a vicious lightsaber duel across the room.

A long, brutal fight ensues, in which Dooku demonstrates obvious fighting superiority.

Ventress was skilled, and proved to be a challenge, even for a Sith Lord.

Dooku duels Ventress taunting her as they fought.

Dooku and Ventress duel while a mobile hologram watches.

Ventress slices at a statue and topples on Dooku.

Asajj tries to strike Dooku, but the Sith Lord uses the Force to bring a portion of the statue behind him to block the strike.

Dooku brought her down, disarming her of her two lightsabers and then sundering the weapons.

Ventress was driven to the ground by a Force Push.

Dooku points his blade directly at Ventress who admitted defeat.

At that point, a mobile hologram unit enters the room, making its way down the stairs.

Dooku introduces Ventress to Sidious, his master.

Ventress was eager to kill a Jedi and Sidious assigned her to kill Anakin Skywalker.

Dooku gave Asajj a pair of new lightsabers.

As she flies off to complete her task, Dooku remarks that he is confident in her success.

Count Dooku was confident that she would quickly dispatch Skywalker; Sidious said that it did not matter either way.

On Ilum, R2-D2 managed to recover a recording of the chameleon droid's sensors and a hologram of Dooku appeared.

A hologram of Dooku ordered the chameleon droids to find the Jedi Temple on Ilum and destroy it.

Dooku spars with General Grievous.

In an unknown location, Count Dooku spars with Grievous.

Dooku blocks Grievous' green lightsaber.

Dooku urges Grievous to use more unorthodox blade-work.

The Count tells the general to stop using the standard attacks.

Darth Tyranus tells General Grievous to control his central line.

Grievous charges toward Dooku who easily evades him.

Dooku moves swiftly past Grievous and praises his fighting.

As General Grievous rushes toward him, Dooku reaches out with the Force.

Tyranus shoves Grievous to the side with a Force push.

Dooku leans away as the general charges into the fold.

Dooku tells Grievous to master and destroy his focus.

Grievous bashes against Dooku who blocks the lightsaber strike.

Tyranus tells Grievous he his holding his saber too tightly.

Count Dooku disarms Grievous stating he was holding the saber too lightly and notices it is a new lightsaber.

Dooku says to Grievous not to let his pursuit of trinkets cloud his reality.

Dooku disarms Grievous and advises him that he can only maintain his edge if he has fear, surprise and intimidation on his side.

The Count also states if he is to succeed in combat against the Jedi he must have fear and intimidation.

Dooku says if only one element is lacking, it is best for Grievous to retreat.

Tyranus lectures that Grievous must break them before he engages them, only then would he ensure victory and have his trophy and Dooku levitates Grievous' lightsaber before him.

Count Dooku and Grievous turn as a hologram of Darth Sidious appears, commenting on Dooku's wise counsel.

Darth Tyranus bows as Lord Sidious materializes on a mobile hologram unit.

Grievous reports that the Jedi numbers are thinly stretched across the Outer Rim in an effort to contain their attacks.

Dooku stands by as Grievous continues to give his report to Lord Sidious.

Sidious, on the mechno-chair, moves past Lord Tyranus while Grievous finishes his report.

Lord Sidious is pleased with the news, congratulates them both, and states the time for the final operation is now.

Revenge of the Sith

As the two Jedi made it to the General's quarters and attempted to free the "captive" Chancellor, Dooku arrived, flanked by two super battle droids.

Dooku made a flipping leap from the balcony to the main floor with his lightsaber in hand.

Dooku walking to face Anakin and Obi-Wan and ordered the Jedi to surrender their weapons, so as not to "make a mess of things in front of the Chancellor."

Dooku begins his final duel with Obi-Wan and Anakin Skywalker.

Count Dooku activates his lightsaber one last time.

Not long after they arrived at the top of the spire, the Sith Lord appeared before them and the two Jedi engaged him in a duel.

The Jedi charged at Dooku together, as Kenobi had originally planned three years earlier on Geonosis, with the Count retreating, on the defensive.

The two Jedi began the duel by utilizing basic attacks of the forms Ataru and Shien in an attempt to deceive Dooku.

At first, Dooku was able to easily counter their attacks with his mastery of Makashi, but was caught off guard when they switched to their more advanced and preferred forms of Soresu and Djem So.

Count Dooku smiles during the duel and tells the two Jedi he's been looking forward to this.

During a standoff, Skywalker told Dooku that his powers had doubled since the last time they met and Dooku, confident that his plan was about to unfold, remarked that with "twice the pride, double the fall," certain that the Jedi would lose.

The saber skills of the two Jedi had dramatically improved during the intervening years; they, however, initially did not reveal this to the Count, using only basic sword techniques.

When Kenobi and Skywalker suddenly changed their saber styles mid-battle, and began to wear down the Sith Lord's defenses, Dooku, who had initially been toying with them, was caught off guard, but was able to readjust his tactics for a more serious confrontation.

Dooku, unable to combat both at once, Force-pushed Kenobi out of the way so he could focus on Skywalker.

Despite this, he still began to tire as Skywalker furiously drove him up the stairs to the balcony.

However, Tyranus still began to tire as Skywalker drove him back up the stairs to the balcony.

Meanwhile, Kenobi brought down the two droids and headed over to attack Dooku from behind.

As Kenobi rejoined the duel, Dooku was able to gain the advantage when he used the Force to levitate Kenobi and kick Skywalker into a wall at the same time.

The Count then Force choked Kenobi and telekinetically hurled him across the room into the railing on the leftmost side of the balcony.

In order to ensure Kenobi could not rejoin the fight, Dooku then used the Force to cause various debris to fall right on top of Kenobi, leaving him unconscious and pinned down.

Enraged, Anakin kicked Dooku off the balcony.

Getting to his feet, Skywalker carried on the fight alone and kicked Dooku off the terrace.

Their one-on-one duel reached the main floor.

Skywalker fought on, eventually losing control of his emotions as Dooku taunted him.

Skywalker and Dooku resume their duel.

Sensing that Skywalker was holding back his anger and hate, Dooku taunted him, hoping to disrupt his concentration.

Dooku taunted Skywalker, remarking that he felt fear, hate and anger, but that he did not use them.

Seeking to exploit this, he then taunted Skywalker, attempting to apply the Sith Dun Möch technique with the hope of disrupting Skywalker's concentration.

Skywalker broke off the blade-lock and Dooku raised his lightsaber.

However, this attempt backfired, further infuriating Skywalker rather than causing him self doubt or distracting him.

Anakin attacked Dooku with rage and hatred, raining down fast, heavy power attacks against his opponent.

Skywalker began to unleash all his fear, anger and hatred, beating away at Dooku's Makashi with his own Djem So mastery.

Skywalker and Dooku move their duel closer to an end.

Anakin attacked Tyranus with his rage and hatred, throwing fast, heavy attacks against the Sith Lord.

Tyranus could barely deflect his opponent's blows, let alone fight back, and was even singed by his own blade at one point.

Dooku was barely able to lift his arms to defend against Skywalker's powerful strikes let alone fight back, and at one point was even singed by his own blade being forced onto his shoulder.

Anakin and Dooku cross blades near Palpatine.

An enraged Anakin continued the fight, unleashing a strength Dooku had not anticipated.

Dooku and Skywalker spin around each other about to clash blades.

With his strength and aggressive lightsaber technique, Skywalker finally overpowered Dooku's defenses.

The short duel ended abruptly when Skywalker bypassed Dooku's defenses, grabbed him and sliced off his hands.

The young Jedi cut off the Sith Lord’s hands, rendering the Count helpless: the perfect act of vengeance.

Dooku shocked as he loses both of his hands.

Taking Dooku's lightsaber, he crossed both his and the Count's blades at the Count's throat in a scissor arc.

“Kill him now,” Palpatine commanded as a shocked Dooku looked to the Chancellor in disbelief, then to Anakin.

Count Dooku stares horrified when his secret master calls for Anakin to kill him.

Dooku's expression betrayed a new understanding of what had transpired, but it was a fleeting moment; Anakin decapitated Dooku with one swift motion.

Despite the fact that Dooku was an unarmed prisoner, Skywalker gave in to his hatred and beheaded Dooku, bringing an end to the Separatist firebrand.
